My fidget drum n bass/drumstep

Thought I wanted to share my latest track. I usually make dubstep, but I just felt like making a drum n bass track and I've barely ever tried doing one before, but here goes;

Not bad . . . I like the rhythm changes from half-time and back
to full time. It would be even better if you had a bridge in it though.

It's my passion indeed, money making as well haha. Still learning - been going for about 1,5 years. Structure is something I'm still quite bad at to be honest Thanks!

Also, are you step-sequencing/pattern sequencing, or do you use a keyboard for input?

I'm an FL Studio user. Some people may like it, some may not, it's up to the producer and I feel comfortable with it, flows well. Mad easy vocal chopping in FL to be honest. Fruity Slicer/Slicex. Also using some delay, stereo shaper, some reverb and EQ, and you get that nice stuff.

By the way, what software are you using? Reason? . . . Cubase?

I'm just using FL at the moment, probably staying with it for a while too I've got a midi keyboard to play around with, come up with stuff. Other than that I'm step-sequencing.

The newer versions of FL Studio are quite good from what I hear.
Of course, there will always be a dispute between the Cubase,
Reason, and FL Studio users. Ultimately, it comes down to the
quality of the samples, the VST plugins, and how clever the
user is in his use of the software.

Exactly. Not quite sure why a lot of people hate on FL Studio. It's a great piece of software that does the job all the time. Guess it's known to be newbie friendly and got its bad name because of that. I'm sure some other DAW allows the user to do something specific a lot easier, while FL Studio does a lot of stuff easier too. FL Studio 10 is excellent imo.
