Hey ,

When i logged into my Paypal today I got chi message from paypal :

Code:
Your account is reaching a total transaction value of SGD 7,500 and our security measure requires that we collect more information about you.We recently reviewed your account, and we need more information about your business to allow us to provide uninterrupted service. We would like to return your account to regular standing as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience
.

They need my Photo ID and Proof of business registration . Under proof of business registration this is what they are looking for :

This helps us ensure that your business is licensed or registered in your industry. This isn't a request related to the existence of your business. Acceptable forms of this document include broker-dealer, remittance or escrow licences.

Now my business or service doesn't have a license or a registration . What kind of proof should I send them ?

BTW , I can still send and receive money and do everything normally .

Any kind of help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Simply send proofs what you have . Btw if you are not a business member then why they are asking for Business License .
Btw you can call them and discuss in details .

Customer support at paypal are really helpful I once had the problem emaild them and next day my I got phone call from paypal customer support and explained me on how to resolve my issue.

its a standard request as they have to do this to comply with money laundering laws

just provide them what you have as proof, then call them to confirm they have everything and it should be ok

It is standard procedure. That is why I do not open Business accounts, however, if you provide them with the required documents you shall be fine.

If you're confused of what you should provide, it would be better you directly call up the paypal customer service and ask what documents you should provide

I think Ill just give them a call or something and that should resolve it .

Will they be ok if I just provide them with my ID proof or something? Or do I have to provide them with business registration proofs?

Thanks , but that seems to be the problem I haven't registered my service .

Thanks a lot

But can you accept CC with a premier account?

+1 doesn't business account just mean you have to pay more fees?

Register your business under sole proprietorship. Its a 2 or 3 days process. send that document to PP.

Thanks BB, But I live in Singapore now and I can't do it here due to certain rules . I have to think of something else.

just send the documents they requested, it's a common thing for them to ask for printed documents to avoid frauds
