SO what happens if I start a profile, and then have to turn my computer off. If I restart the profile will it go back to the same links I already visited, or will it go to new stuff?

If you stop it at all it will go back to the beginning of the list in the text file. When I stop it, I make a note of which forums it visited last, then move all the ones it has to the bottom of the text file.

You can pause it, and it will resume. That's it, though.

I may have not been clear. If I only have one profile on only one forum, and I run the bot for about 30 minutes and then close it and re-start it, will it visit the same profiles in the same order?

Yes. It will cycle through the list endlessly (so for that 30 minutes, it will browse that one forum the entire time). Every time it's stopped or closed, it will start from the beginning of the list.

However, if it's set to delete failures and it does not detect the vb_username/vb_password fields, it will stop and mark that forum as a failed login. But, when you stop and close it, that forum will remain in the Registered Accounts.txt file and it will go to it again next time you open it.

If it's set to delete failures AND you designate a file to save to, when it marks a forum as failed, the list is saved to the file WITHOUT the failed forum.

So when I've got 10 profiles loaded, each for different forums, once its on the third account, the bot has already visited every possible profile link for the first 2? That's weird since some of my forums have tons of members, but the bot went on after visiting only like 10 profiles from them.

Try reading meatro's first post:

Does not visit every single member's profile, which means it looks natural and doesn't take hours to process one forum.
Visits homepage profiles, which are most likely indexed/frequent posters.

I know it doesn't visit all... but its only been visiting like 20 for 2 forums, and another one it visited 1600 in a row <_<

It visits all member links on the home page. Here's what it does:

Goes to the forum's homepage and searches for ANY links containing the terms "blog," "profile," "member" and "search."

If it's only visiting 10 links, it's because there's only 10 links on the homepage with one of these terms.

If you set it to visit 100 links and there are only 10 links, it will visit all 10.

I've updated this bot again... I added some cool time saving stuff.

1.) I fixed the issue with URLs, it would sometimes add 2 URLs together (http://forum-url.com/http://forum-url.com/whatever.php), this shouldn't be an issue anymore.

2.) I added a "Tolerance" feature. Basically, this is the number of pages you'll allow the bot to load that DO NOT include your link before skipping to the next forum. So if the bot is visiting profiles and dropping a link, it will stay on that forum. However, when it reaches the designated number of pages that DO NOT contain the link, it will skip.

This is good for avoiding long amounts of wasted time visiting profiles that A.) do not provide your link, B.) are not visible, C.) are 404, D.) account ban or whatever reason. You shouldn't set this too low, because not ALL pages are going to be forum profiles. Many will be, many will not (search pages, your own profile, user CP, etc.)

Also, for fun I added a "Links Dropped" counter, which counts every time it finds your profile link in somebody's "Recent Visitors" widget.

It can't be "fixed" because it's a false positive report, not unless you contact your AV maker and tell them that hey this a false positive report or you tell uBot devs to change something on their software's end, which is very unlikely.
