i've heard about guys who will make wikipedia articles about their websites. do you think this is usefull for seo? have you already done that? i will try this today.

Yes that's true. They remove the external no-follow and do-follow links.

I get plenty of links from Wikipedia. As of now my main clients site has about 5 of them across a couple different pages.

You really just need to find articles that still need citations and then provide the content needed to fill that citation.

They probably bring about 35 visits per link to our sites monthly.

That's a crock of shit. If nofollow links were worthless then comment spam would've never worked.

Nofollow links also have benefit too such as link diversity in link building that would natural in google or search engine spiders.
