I have been thinking about this "HERE" and "LINK HERE" in anchor texts, but I always read from seo guy that I should use my keywords as anchor text and change it just little not so much, but now I'm going to change the way I use anchor texts. Thanks for this

I'd also add anchor text that reads "website.com" or "website" to further increase the odds of looking natural.

I could go on and on (and I?m sure I will in the future) about the abuses that these bills would allow. But for now, I need your help. Please call your Congressperson right now and explain that this bill overreaches and would do serious harm to the internet. Thank you!

Guys, I see that many of you saying spun contents work. They do work but only less than 10% when compared original content.

Post 50 articles with spun content and unique content.. you will know the difference..

Google has long since been in the sport to idenify unique articles. As many have said, they are getting better nailing unique duplicates of articles on a WORD stage. If you whirl at a passage AND phrase stage mixing that with change WORD adaptations to at least 5 places each you are in the clear. There is no computational power similar to the endeavor of determining the adaptations which can be carried out through efficient rotating.

Yes but content on authority domains have different factors...

Aged domains,
high PR

not too hard to game, but expensive

2. Spun content. Yea my site is not even spun content, it's 80% copy and pasted content, guess what it ranks 5th for a 1m search term. Here's an example site of copy and paste content that has well over 1m monthly visitors from google myshopping dot com dot au.

It's a matter of how you place the content. If the site look legit and the content provides value, why would google ban you?

OP, please comment ^^^THIS^^^ + The following scenario:

You have an authority site and you place high quality uniquely written articles - few times a week... however, 20 autoblogs have attached your site feed to them and every time your new article is out, it's also spread on 20+ websites as well immediately. And because autoblogs are updated more frequently than your site, your "unique" article is even indexed first on those crappy autoblogs...

What's going on with the unique content in Google's eyes in this case?

Google wants a world where every keyword, no matter how obscure, yields a first page search result with Big Corp, Wikipedia, youtube, or other 'big fish' institutional site links leading the front pages, with little sites buried on page 100. It also wants to look noble while burying the little fish, so it keeps talking about a 'better user experience.' Whatever the cover, the aim is to bury the little guys.

I am getting better at SEO by the day but still have a long way to go.

My website is unique, I write all of my content and the site is 7 months old. I have debunked other websites but on top of me I have, for my big keywords:

- A website with aged domain that happens to scrape and spun all of its articles. It has a shitload of articles though and quite possibly hit the money with G in 2008-2009 when link building was still the name of the game.

- 2 or 3 Youtube videos: all with negative criticism. One of them with a douche explaining something that is just stupid. Feels like punching him in the face and he has over 100k views.

- Hubpages: spun content from this geezer who tries to look like an authority figure but quite likely is part of BHW. Spins articles like a champ on all web 2.0. Doesn't have a clue what he is talking about but is also the owner of the aged domain mentioned above.

- About.com: like Hubpages only that the guy writing apparently is an expert. He is not but in Google eyes he is since about.com sucks G like Sandra Romain (sorry, I was just watching some Ms. Romain before coming to BHW).

- Some strong paper magazines that also have online editions: bizarrely, I have debunked them for some keywords and not for others. Feelsgoodman.jpeg

Point is, how the hell can us little guys compete with the above? My content is much better than the above (my readers say this themselves) yet obviously there are other factors at stake. The pages from Hubpages and About.com are utter crap, the aged domain is full of adsense and ads. I don't have a single ad as I am trying to get my authority up and earn trust with my readers.

I just hope that as time goes by I can fit in Page 1 because right now I am on the first/second result of Page 2

I have a theory about spun content that may be right or wrong, not sure.

If an article is spun and there are only 2 copies for Google to compare then it may or may not see that as coincidental.

However when there are 3 or more articles to compare and especially when the destination of the backlinks gives away the relationship of the three it is an easier matter to create a mask of the text and then overlay that mask on other related articles. Where there is a close match G00gle would assume spun content and then devalue the articles and the links.

I think the processing and storage demands are prohibitive at the moment but they have some very smart people working for them, and with more processing per found page this could become a reality in the future.

My thoughts are that the more spun articles you put out, the easier you make it for G to find you and devalue the worth of your page.

1. Scrapebox on money site, how do you avoid akismet ban? Sure it works, until you get banned that is.

Could you comment on this please? Stopped using SB a while ago because of this very issue. What rules do you use to avoid AS bans?

Second question. What would you do with an ecommerce affiliate site both from on-page and off-page to rank well? You know those auto generated Amazon sites.
