Why don't i qualify? I met all the terms you laid out!

I reserve the right who i give the free copies to, and your 13 word explanation of backlinks is to short when compared to what all the other people have done, and it is not worth the amount of work i have to put in to do the submission. If you made a better effort and contributed with a better reason why backlinks are important then i would have happily given it to you.

Quick review.

Very good service. Nice and easy to fill out all the required fields. Once you pay you are taken to a form which is easy to fill out, takes 30 seconds, just attach your article in notepad format, add you site URL and keywords and off you go.

The report was sent to me in about 30 mins after paying (maybe sooner) and Royalmice over delivered with the number of links promised.

Backlinks are important for me (and anyone serious with SEO) as they are the backbone of SERP improvement. Say what you will about on page SEO and content and yes they are important but I have seen plenty of sites that have minimal unique content and "so so" on Page SEO yet they manage to rank on page 1, why? Backlinks.

Variety is key with backlinking A) it looks more natural- if there is a buzz about a celebrity, a game or a product where do we find the information? Everywhere!! Blog posts, forums, comments, articles and even press releases. So by getting those same types of links ourselves our backlinks tell the search engines that we have something fresh and newsworthy.

B) None of us know the algorithms that the SE's use, therefore the more variety we have in our backlinks the less damage we will feel if one of the search engines devalues a certain type of Link or if a certain number of links we have get devalued for other reasons.

Use the far left colum of submission form ( Submissions). and just put the day. Like day 1, Day 2, day 3, then i will know when to do it.

For all those that lurk this thread this will be an AMAZING case study. I registered a .org "seo" website about 3 weeks ago. Turns out I got lucky and the domain is already 3 years old and has a few backlinks already not many, roughly 80 or so.

Anyway just targeted 2 SEO related terms, one local on generic, currently they are not listed in the top 100 results for either term I picked according to Traffic Travis, there is ONE article on the site, the rest are static pages describing the service as well as privacy, about, find us etc..

So we will see how well we do with this, I am going up against other SEO guys here so if I can get some action on this I will be very impressed.

Summary: Site is something like this, my-SErg, domain age 3 years, PR 0, 80 backlinks (have not done any linking), re-did the site today, 1 article on the blog portion of the site.
Targeting local term like "Dallas SEO" and another generic term like "Great SEO", currently not in the top 100 for either term.


All the info above is for illustrative purposes only, thats not the real url and those are not the real keywords I have targeted.

Our websites are like regular people who go to a prom night with a particualr costume theme (keyword), now the judge (google) has to pick a prom king and a prom queen (higher ranging in google).

In order to be that prom king or prom queen, you need to have as many votes as possible, in this case the direct vote = a direct backlink to your main site..

Now, why are backlink important to me ???

Becasue i surely want to be a prom king in my theme party
