wow dude is it really possible to buy sites which generate 5-6$ USD/day for only 100-150 ? and what kind of tweaks did u make to increase earning? are these cpa websites or affliate/adsense?

I have not bought any site till now from flippa. How do you make sure you are not scammed at flippa while buying? Did you ask for team viewer stats or something because screenshots can be easily faked no?

They were generating much lower before I modified the sites. For instance $20-40/month.

A lot of things, basically I changed themes, changed widget positions, banners, tweaking ad positions.

Well, if someone would scam for a few bucks I would be pretty disgusted! I talk to each buyer for a while if they don't have any feedback. I only asked for Analytics multiple times, nothing more. If anything, I pay from my paypal -> banka ccount so if they try to scam, I can get my money back.

It is a good idea that u create 2.0s for ur new keywords. 2.0s are great source of backlinks as most of them are high pr's. And 2.0s shouldnt get deleted unless you are breaking ToS.

I create new 2.0's.

I haven't gotten any deleted BESIDES some on wordpress. Those get deleted once in a blue moon .

HOWEVER, I've moved to just outsourcing everything now and I don't do any creation anymore. It's just not worth the time and effort anymore, when I could be doing new ideas/methods.

Hey, UPdate 11/17.

I pretty much reached my goal. However, I kind of took a shortcut. I realized I could make a lot more by investing into sites with SE traffic that were not monetized well from Flippa, so I bought four sites so far, and they were a bargain, and they pretty much powered me to my goal. There's a lot of crap on Flippa, but you can find pretty good sites for cheap prices if they aren't monetized well, not many people will be wanting it.

For example two of the sites I bought

$80 - Generates me ~$3-6 a day after tweaking it. Will get a return on the site withina month

Another site cost $110 and generates $6-10 a day after tweaking.

Anyways, I should stop buying sites, the other two sites I bought costed $2,300 total, but I will get a return within 1-2 months

1 - You said you only look for keywords that have at least 6000 monthly search volume. I'm assuming that's global traffic and not local (although I know you said local is way more important for CPA), so let's say a keyword has 6000 global, what would your minimum be for local?

2 - How do you put a no index tag on only one page of a wordpress site? Is there a plugin for this?

3 - You mentioned buying SB lists, so do you only buy them now? And these are AA lists, right?

4 - You said for the secondary keywords you'll write a smaller article on them (I think you mentioned having 42 or so of these now), as far as wordpress goes, I'm assuming that these are actually POSTS and not PAGES, correct?

5 - For those smaller articles, do you go through the whole process of 2.0's>AMR>SB Blasts to all of those too?

1- I try to AIM for a third. so if 6000 global ~2000 local(US in this case)

2- Yup a lot of SEO plugins can do it, SEO Ultimate, Thesis Theme, etc.

3- I don't buy them anymore, but at the time I was buying AA and Slow Poster Lists (High PR no AA)

4- Yup they're posts.

5- Yes at the time I was doing all that for the smaller posts too, but now, since for the site if you maintain it well, overtime it will become an authority in its niche and then when you do a smaller post, it'll achieve a high ranking naturally.

Nope! One of them gets around ~70, the $110 one gets 400-500. I use adsense on one of them CPA on the other.

It really depends on the niche. In my case for 2,000 visitors I would expect maybe around ~100

~$30 is generally ok. If you don't want to pay, you can usually scrump up enough Info on the web, put it all organized into a word document and save as PDF and use that as well.

Yup your understanding is pretty spot on!

1. It should talk about "far cry all guides".

2. I've actually made them myself. They're not eye catching in a way that they look very sleek or anything, but their color is a much different contrast from the rest of the page and is also very big, so the chance that your eye would not see it is very slim! Unless you just scrolled way down the second you landed on the page.

Also things that suggest to the user to "act" work well, such as "limited offer" or "limited time" or "22 copies left" or "1:00 until expired" etc, give the user a sense that he or she has to act now.

I always figured that with all the mega authority gaming websites out there that all gamers know about (gamespot, IGN, etc), it would be difficult to make a dent, but perhaps I was wrong. Actually I think it's very effective and through my experience the competition has always been a LOT less than medical/health/fitness type sites that typically generate a higher amount of money per visitor.

It's true that there are SUPER authority websites when you target gaming, such as gamespot, IGN, gamefaqs, cheat code central, and of course the game site itself. It's also true that there are a few fan based sites for these games as well, but how many of those webmasters do you think actually know a lot about SEO or do you think they are just running the fan based site because they love the game? Well i'd say half or more of the time it's because they love the game.

With that said, there are many sites out there per game, but there are not many that are built with SEO. If you look at health or insurance or the real competitive niches, you will see that they have all invested in good SEO.
