Hi, recently one of our clients page with 100,000 has been disabled. The page has all the US targeted fans which was created after spending atleast $8000.

Here is what Facebook sent us in the mail-

Hello,

Your Page "XYZ" has been removed for violating our Terms of Use. A Facebook Page is a distinct presence used solely for business or promotional purposes. Among other things, Pages that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed. We also take down Pages that attack an individual or group, or that are set up by an unauthorized individual. If your Page was removed for any of the above reasons, it will not be reinstated. Continued misuse of Facebook's features could result in the permanent loss of your account.

If you need further assistance with this issue, please visit http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=page_disabled.

Has anyone else faced such a problem earlier, the only thing we have done is that changed the ownership of the page and after that it was disabled, and there is nothing illegal on the page..

yes but what was the page abt? and how did you get the fans?. all these factors come into it,they dont just disable it for no reason.

change ownership? mean you apoint your client as admin, and your client remote your admin right in the page?

He hasn't been posting for a while, but I took a look at this. The client hired quite a few different helpers to get the likes it had, and they used some very blackhat methods of getting these likes, so it is of no surprise that this page was banned.

Lesson: Don't use blackhat methods to make a large whitehat FB page or you will lose the page (unless you have a special method).
