Just stop the wheel and change it, but you have to restart the application to keep the new settings.

Got LWB up an running on a dedicated laptop (1.6ghz, 1gb RAM). Processing my test account now. I have to say I'm really impressed on how everything works thus far. I would though like to see more web 2.0 properties. It seems the only 10 supported so far.

I do have some questions I'd like some other members to answer though,

  1. Is a complete link wheel just target to one set of keywords? So if I have a site about cars, do I have a complete LW pyramid for the keyword "classic mustangs" and then a completely separate LW for "tricked out hondas"?
  2. If I load 100 (spun) articles on a LW, what happens when they run out?
  3. I get every now and then the Error Type "Actions Error" [VerifyString] Search String: Name of Article... what is causing this?
  4. Sometimes I also see the Error Type "Actions Error" [VerifyTextLink] Text Link Search: Log Out] Unable to find Link with Anchor text in HTML. Whats this all about?
  5. When I run a report, is there an easy way to see what pages are still active before I ping them, or should I just ping everything and the one that are pad will just fail anyways?
  6. How often should I ping? Only new ones daily. New plus old daily? Weekly?
  7. In the tutorial video's it says I can right click on red error lines and get more info. I cannot right click on them, but I can on green. Why not?
  8. Is there anyone that has put together any other video tutorials about best practices or sites talking about this application? I have some heat on my to perform in a tight niche and I just want to make the best of this program.
Thanks much all! :)

just stumbled upon this tool, was going to write such a program myself (also in java, had similiar ideas for the dashboard etc :D).

But taking into account the workload this would take I will surely give LWB a try, as 50$/mo is nothing compared to the time I'd have to spend on creating and maintaining such a bot ^^

I am seeing many conflicting posts here. Some say it works, some are getting a ton of errors. Can anyone provide a concise review of the latest version please?

I have just finished reading this entire thread from beginning to end and I have to say I feel bad for Ace. It is a bunch of the same questions over and over (I am guilty of this too when a thread is huge) and a bunch of people posting here instead of emailing support. Anyway I am finally ready to begin using the product (which is why I read the entire thread again).

I am very excited! Also funny to see my first post ever on BHW in the thread and see how much I have learned in the last 2 months. Great forum and great people.

I am a relatively new user and have set up two huge linkwheels that have been running well for a couple days. I would say everyone who complains about the software is having problems with one of the following (easily fixed) issues:

1) Incorrect version of Java (Java 7 causes problems, Java 6 is fine)
2) Not using private proxies (although I use cheap ProxyBonanza SHARED and they work great too. Just don't use public.)
3) Bitching about needing catch-all domains.
4) Spending too much on captchas (a legitimate issue, and one that's worth complaining about, but not enough to sour the software on a whole.)
5) Complaining about needing articles (GAP and TBS basically necessary)

I'm running it on my xsserver $35 VPS (forgot the specs, you can go check it on the site, but it's not a beast by any means) and it works perfectly fine at 15 threads (software max is 25). It does everything I want it to do, and although I'm not an experienced user, I'm going to highly recommend it for everyone doing regular SEO, provided the user is self-sufficient enough to take care of the above issues.

Hi. I am ready to begin using this. I have watched all the videos (on his site and on his youtbue video), along with reading his thread and the 1 document I found on the support site. I have a few questions

01) For a 3-3-6 how many articles will I need? Is the calculation 3*3*6 * whatever I set it at before it grows? If someone could explain this to me so I could prepare the proper amount of articles that would be helpful.

02) Is there any kind of best practice document? Are there any settings that I should be aware of walking in (I am going ot use buyproxies I didnt see them mentioned in the thread and I have 10 .infos for catchalls).

03) Are there any sites I should be aware of with information besides the Skype channel (I am not currently a member but I will look into membership if I have issues on my own).

Best.

Hi,
stupidest linkwheel question ever. How do I know when it is done lmao. I feel stupid just asking that. I have it at 3-3-6 set to grow after 1 post and a post every hour. It has been running for about 4 hours and while I know it is nowhere done I was just wondering does the app tell you ok we are done or what? there are no vidoes on the start up guide about it. Thanks. I think this might be the worst question I have ever asked on this forum and there have been quite a few lmao.

LWB was really never designed to have a linkwheel FINISHED, I know that sounds weird, but I designed it to constantly keep all linkwheels in app updated.. The only way to have it complete is to set limits on it..

Other than that it will continue posting. I will have very soon figures
on completion stats for example.

How many accounts have been created and the total scheduled
how many posts have been posted per tier, and if limits are set
what the percentage of post completion is.

Two Questions,

  1. NO social media accounts are being created. I have it set to create them. Any ideas?
  2. How do I get a list of URL to ping. I see them in the stats section, but they are shown with a bunch of info I don't need. Any way to get an easy list?
Thanks.

My little review of this software, that I have been using for couple months.

First of all no positive effect on site after supposedly thousands of blogs generated.

It uses very limited number of web 2.0 properties that probably in eyes of google looks like a spam sites and being ignored.

Very few of them being indexed and then quickly disappear from index.

Software constantly crashes and if you leave it for day or so you will most likely find it with some error, could not connect to servers or similar.

Captcha hog, it empties balance quicker than any other software I used before.
I was spending around 60 dollars in month on captchas alone.
Very little control of selecting properties or anything else, you just start it and hope that it will do what promissed.

Anyways it does something, it could create thousands accounts on some spammed properties for you but it will not give you much value in terms of SEO. Btw I was generating random articles with pictures so when they were created they were looking Ok but as I said before because thousands and thousands of spammy posts being posted on very the same properties google just ignore most of them.

So I decided it is better spend the same 100 backs or bit more to outsource for quality targeted links created than generated thousands of useless links on few web 2.0 properties.

I didn't know Wordpress, livejournal, etc. were seen as spam sites by Google...

I've been running this nonstop for two weeks on a fairly shitty VPS and have never had a crash. Are you running this on your desktop? Are you using proxies?

it is what it is, you will find a plenty of people who have the same issues with software.
Wordpress livejournal maybe not spam sites but again it is just a few sites that software is using and most of the posts are not indexed anyways and I am pretty sure that google not treating links even from those sites nowadays way he used to.

I'm just curious, not trying to be confrontational, but are you using any service to index links generated by LWB? Or just letting them sit?

And as I asked above, are you using proxies with the software?

I also am curious as to why you post here of the crashing issues, and not in the support feedback?

Most users report that it does not crash at all..

When it says it cannot connect to server, in almost all instances it has been
due to a crappy internet connection or a firewall / anti-virus blocking the connection on the client side.

Have these things been checked?

I think this is very important. Hopefully future versions of this application will include this type of feature. For now I am making my own web based ping tool that I can add all my links into then send them out on a timed basis using proxies.

Once the new site_poster is out beginning of this next year, It will far exceed
all your indexing needs..

It has some particular features no other system is doing at this time.

Question for the group and yes I emailed ace at support first but wanted to hear other opinions.

Made a 7-7-7 linkwheel, had 1000 articles. Set it to post once an hour and grow linkwheel after 3 posts. Also to bookmark twice a day. It has been more then 12 hours and the program is stuck at 3-57. It has not created any other 1st level sites nor has it created the bookmarks. Ace said it is probably done but I have a problem believing that 7-7-7 and 1 post an hour with 3 posts per site is done in under 20 hours (it has been stuck for 12 but ran for about 20 first). Any thoughts? Right about now I am going to restart the program and see if that does anything. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar?

Can you confirm for me you are running Java 6 and not Java 7 for starters?
Thanks.
