What are the tools needed for mass emailing?

Hi. I'm very new to this mass emailing thing. I'll tell you what tools I have gathered so far and then I'll ask you guys for some suggestions. I have a VPN, I have bought SendBlaster 2 pro. I'm currently using a hosting services' smtp which lets me send 200 emails/hour. Now, I'm looking to buy a good cheap SMPT that'll let me send at least 4000 emails per day. Please suggest me any that you might know of. And also, I have noticed that when I connect through the VPN (which I have got for free from this very forum) it changes my IP. Would that be enough or I need to buy something else for hiding my IP?

I use the same service as you do

Basically what you need is a good server with DKIM, DomainKeys, SPF and SenderID also if you want to spam, better have many IPs as well.

Also you would need a mailer, for basic mailing you can get Interspire mailer that you can get from downloads section, but for larger amounts of emails I would suggest you to buy Atomic Mail Sender

Absolutly not because

1. you can pay it back in less than 1 week of usage.

2. It cost me around 40x that price to build it.

3. Like other said, some software (like sendsafe) that offer a lot less of options are really more expensive than that.

We could also offer monthly payment (like some other are doing) to have it looking like to be cheaper but at the end, you will pay it 5-10 times...


It's absolutly a gift at this price...

If you think that is true Email marketing is probably not for you. Wait until you have to buy proxies, accounts, decaptcher and anything else associated with your mailing.

One or another, there's no difference for starting.

In mass mailing, there's 3 important things:

1. The quality of your mailing list for the niche you're targetting.

2. The delivery rate. (More you can send, more money you can make)

3. The inbox rate. (More emails are readed, more money you make)


At this point, the difference is having the possibility to setup everything at one place, in 1 desktop software and using many servers at the same time or using 1 server at a time with interspire.

Like you probably know, each server has it's own limits per hour or per day.

Interspire is a nice tool but you will install it on 1 server and you will be stucked with that server limits.

I let you think about where is the best to invest now..
