How Much You Earn With Clickbank ?

I started earning some decent Clickbank $$ last year with some PPC campaigns, until Google shut down my account.

This year, I had some earlier luck and made about $400 with a review site, but lost my rankings for a bit. I'm back up at the top now (well above where I was), getting the traffic, but the clicks aren't converting anymore. Still refining, and expanding

I have a combination of products and also promote other people products

I started with clickbank to diversify my direct sales, adsense earnings and other affiliate promotions

Wanted to diversify my income and not put all my eggs in one basket, my goal is $1000 a day within the next 1-2 years, and I am well on my way

It all came down to getting traffic and I got a few but far less people clicking throw.

0$ so far, but I had good traffic (through adwords) to landing page, it just wasn't converting.

I read through the thread and have a question for guys making money on cb:

i am trying to promote a product in the self-help niche and since I had no sales with my crummy landing page redirect I am really considering paying more money into adwords to direct link and skip the landing page altogether...

smart?
foolish?
waste of money/time?
or can this be a good oppurtunity to research the customer base and see their receptivity?

Would really like to hear Otrap's input on this, as you seem to be owning all around , but others feedback is appreciated as well

its been a while since i used adwords to promote anything but if its a cb product Im not so sure you will be able to direct link especially if its a sales page.

I wanna thank everyone that is posting useful info. I have made about $300 in the past off of cb. Now I really need to get busy I would like a good income off of IM.

You cn either do your research and only promote popular products with low refunds and maybe even buy and test the product (never done that) or just work the numbers and base your strategy on numbers. If you sell $5k and $1k gets refunded = $4k profit! So would you rather make $4k or avoid the product because of a 20% refund rate and earn $0?

You're onto something that some of these guys have known for years.

Hint hint: As an affiliate, I tend to see about 35% in refunds.

Also, my tidbit of info for the day: Affiliates don't actually get penalized by chargebacks any more than they do refunds. Vendors do, though.

Quick question: do you have a backup plan in case your main email service bans your account (like a worst case scenario type deal)?

I know how difficult it is to import one list from one provider to another provider, so I was just wondering if you had any type of plan or backup service in mind? Thanks Otrap, been following this thread for a while!

A billion reasons. High complaint rate, single opt-ins, etc. Providers are getting pickier and I had a friend lose a 50k list from Aweber for having a slightly higher than normal complaint rate. Lost his entire list. Since this is happening more I was wondering if he had a backup plan or something or a good way to diversify risk of this kind of problem.

I do have a backup plan, but I'm not worried. My average spam complaint rate is about one-tenth the limit of the provider I use, so a high day for me is still a low day by their standards.
