MENTOR: 50/50 Split!

Here is my proposal. Lots of relative nooBs like myself are asking for tips and advice but why would someone who's banking a lot of coin want to take time out to help some nooB?

Well HERE IS WHAT'S in it for YOU. Basically, I've got three kids and an 'all-commission' day job that's hit a wall (think 'mortgage'...). All this 'trial and error' mumbo jumbo is getting expensive...and I need results.

BOTTOM LINE...

Show me how to do what you do or PART of what you do...AND...

For the first 30 days, we SPLIT whatever income I get from your tactic, training, whatever...50/50...right down the middle. Maybe it's a black-hat method. Maybe it's a killer PPC to CPA niche, idea or method.

Instead of YOU making $10,000/month, you could make $15,000 for a month and I could make $5,000.

How will we verify this? I will sign up for the affiliate prog or whatever, then give YOU the passwords to the account. You can change them or whatever depending on how trusting you are. If you change them, just send me a daily screenshot of what we're making, or I'm out.

I can provide you with a copy of my credit scores showing that I have 800+ credit. I pay who I'm supposed to pay, when I'm supposed to pay them. I don't think I've ever even been late on a credit card in my entire life.

Besides, if I don't come through, I would assume I will be banned from the forum which is counterproductive to my goals. Nobody wants that.

After 30 days, I'm on my own and I have to 'get out of your niche' if that's what we were doing. If you show me how to master a technique using 'training your dog to fetch you a bud light' as our niche, I can still use the METHOD but not in YOUR niche. I will teach people how to make their cats piss their name in the snow or something...

Anyway, that's the proposal. PM me if interested. We'll figure a way to send me a screenshot of what you're banking and we'll take it from there. I'm turning in for the night but will be back on in the morning.

Monty, Im sure everyone can appreciate your zeal and willing ness to succeed, but let me say this,and I hope it doesnt come off the wrong way. Ill start with a famous parable that states : If you give a man a fish he can eat for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he can eat for a lifetime...something along those lines, anyway; I know you are probably saying to yourself right now "But thats what Im asking for is to be taught!" and maybe you think that to be true, but if I "give " you my technique what actually have you learned? What will you appreciate about it? The truth is alot of us who make good money online were in your shoes at some point, struggling, needing money, frustrated yada yada yada, the list goes on. That process is a refining process that actually makes us who we are. We have come to a point where success is more important than money (some of us) and thats why we make so much of it, because its not our only goal. Mastering blackhat, white hat, any IM for that matter is a process built on steps. You must master each piece before you can master the puzzle. I didnt mean to go all philosophical on you but what Im saying is true, and Im sure others will attest to that. So with that said, Im not telling you to stop asking for help or lessons, Im telling you to ask for the right things and then put those together...Oh and by the way, there is no way someone here is going to gove you a $10,000 a month or any amount for that matter method for a 50/50 split, they wont give it to you period, its a liability. Dont mean to sound harsh, just giving it to you real like the educated that are here should be doing.

I am going to give you some advice from someone who has been asked a thousand times and offered thousands of dollars to mentor. If you do get someone to mentor, you had damn well better be careful. Even the highest membership sites on the planet out there don't teach their pupils EVERYTHING. It's a fact, you may meet some nice people who go out of their way every day to help as much as they can, but what your looking for is a good way to get royally fucked over online. Hope you have thought about a partnership, an NDA and all the shit that goes with this.

Nobody in their right mind is going to allow too take someone else into their honeyholes and help you out. Just not going to happen. Every bit of your post leaves you susceptible to a ton of gullability and could result in more harm than good.

For your case, I sure hope not. I enjoy your presence in the forum and would hate for you to get screwed over and have a moral dump but it happens and it happens a lot. So whatever your looking for, I hope you find it, but I just wanted to point out the complications of such an offer and hope you don't get burned bro.

i somewhat agree with what you're saying, but there's a tried and proven arrangement called apprenticeship that the old masters implemented to enhance the learning process. i believe they had very sound reasons for such arrangements...probably for the same reason why we have schools today.

blackhatting is apparently different due to the fierceness of competition. after all there is only one #1 spot for any keyword in G. i'm not suggesting that anybody is obligated to teach but we will certainly appreciate it. i also understand that the potency of some of these working methods employed by the pros lies in its 'limited' usage. with that in mind, we will settle for methods that generate a fifth of what you make. i speak on behalf of all noobs

I wouldn't ask the mentor to show me or teach me his niche, but I would ask for advice, guidance, and motivation in my own project. You all know how important motivation is. Sometimes your own motivations are not enough, or maybe you stuck in a little detail or problem that stops you in further improvement. Those times a helping hand could save your life. It's the same when you are depressed...

Exactly! Maybe I didn't word it in the best way. I'm not looking for someone to show me their 'silver bullet'.

I'm not looking for anyone to say, "Here, Monty...have some of my hard-earned fish."

What I'm looking for is for someone to say,

"Hey, have you ever thought about putting shrimp on your hook instead of worms? It works MUCH better." or

"Hey, try fishing in THIS lake instead."

In other words, I'm not looking for someone to say,

"Hey, if you want some backlinks that should get indexed quickly since they belong to Google...go post a comment with your hyperlink on sports.bl*ogspot.c*om, our*kids.blogspo*t.com, and mill*iondollarq*uest.blog*spot.com because those are Blogger blogs that no one has checked for over 3 years! Then go to autopinger and PING them."

I just want someone to say,

"Hey, try looking up Blogger names that sound very common because chances are, they exist and haven't been used in a while. Go post a comment on them and use a pinging service to ping them."

Or someone might even say, "Hey, there's a program that will DO that for you, you know."

I'm spinning my wheels over here trying to perfect stuff that people have already optimized 5 or 10 years ago.

It probably wouldn't be so frustrating if my mortgage business wasn't complete shit right now with Christmas right around the f-ing corner (ho ho ho, right?).

I'm just trying to find ways to think 'outside of the box'. There was another post yesterday about mentoring / training that I thought was a good one.

I am a n00b who is just starting out at trying to make my money exclusively online. I have been bidding my time, buying domains in my niche and developing sites to put on them (learning that too), I have also thought about this. Not because I think I can't do it on my own, i can, will and am, but because its simply the methodology of your actions throughout the day that people like me/us are dumb to at first. There has got to be a system and it's got to be consistent...daily.

That?s where I am having the most problems. Think that is where most of us n00bs do get snagged.

agreed with ruck. It cost me more than $40k last 2 years just to learn about "everything" to make money fast from most of the top Gurus. The truth is, I lost money in the process. they don't care about you. they just want suck all of your money out. it's like hit and run.

I think this site alone is a good mentor because you have the ability to learn more from the resources and build your own genuine ideas. There are many ways to make money on the internet, and i have found that in order to make good, go on vacation every 2 months money you need to design your own methods and sprinkle a little bit of everything you learn on them.

I think that's the point, Andy. People don't want to continue wasting money on something that is supposed to be making money.

You are right. There are some scandalous people who want to suck your money, and hit and run. However, that's not only with making money on the Internet, but in life.

I'm sure a lot of the pros don't want to mentor anyone. Don't you think there are a few that might be up to the task, though?

I've been checking out Ruck's site, and I'm learning some things, and plan on implementing something within a few days. The Zero to Hero concept was clearly explained, and it looks like something I can do.

I just want to make a point. I taught English as a Second Language for most of my adult life. In many ways, there aren't any secrets to learning a second, or third language. Any language takes time, practice, but most importantly, a good reason for wanting to learn. If you have a good teacher, that can cut some of that learning time.

Most English teachers concentrate on teaching the entire group, and not focusing on individuals. That is why many students quit. Because contrary to popular belief, there isn't any one method that is suited for all students.

Many ideas are posted in this forum, and I'm sure most of them can make money if they're applied properly. Does that mean that if everyone tries those techniques they're going to make money? No. Does that mean the reason they didn't make money was because they didn't try? No.

It goes back to what I used to tell my students. I told them that some of them didn't need me to teach them, because they had the special ability, and enthusiasm to learn from a book, watching TV, listening to the radio, reading, and talking with their friends. I knew there weren't many who possessed that talent, but I let them know the possibility existed.

So when a member says that they'd go 50/50, or would pay to learn certain things from a respected teacher (like I wouldn't mind doing), some of them aren't looking for a handout, but are looking to shorten the learning curve. Or, they feel that they can learn better that way. What's wrong with that?

The reason I think that would work in a forum like this, is because if a respected member agreed to help, Their reputation would be on the line to help their students produce some results.

Of course there is nothing wrong with the pros just giving out some tips for free, either. I'm sure most appreciate that, and that might be enough for many people.
