Scrapebox , Backlink Checker Down Because of YSE closure?

When I follow your instructions, TheGateKeeper, the URLs that get harvested have anchor text that matches my domain, but it's not actually finding real backlinks.

For example:

I enter: "link:mymoneysite.com" in the Harvester,
I select "custom footprint"
I enter the keywords as you suggested (a to z, all the digits)
I load my proxies, and verify them
I select only Google
I hit "Harvest" and I get a whopping 4000+ results. If I open any of the results, I will see web pages with anchor text that matches "mymoneysite" or "my moneysite" etc. but they aren't backlinks to MY site. The text just matches.

So what am I doing wrong?

I hate to keep bumping this thread, but it seems that several people are having the same problem with the Scrapebox Backlink Checker Addon.

Irock97 said that he got it to work, but I can't figure out what the fix is. Can anyone else help?

These are fine methods for finding backlinks of 1 specific url at a time, however, what I and others are using the Backlink Checker addon for is adding to our auto-approve lists.

The above mention methods are not efficient for checking the backlinks from 25,000 urls.

I don't understand why it's so important to you. Why don't you run "check links" right after you blast comments or trackbacks - all found are your AA urls!

Edit: ok, so you want to know which "stick" after a while, I don't bother any more, but you could run that same list again

This is what I've been using the backlink checker addon for:

1) Find a dozen or so blog pages that have 1,000+ comments on them (obvious auto approve blog pages)
2) Save these urls to .txt file
3) Open link extractor addon, load file, select external links, run, save all to file
4) Open backlink checker addon, load file, pull all backlinks from these urls, download all, save to file
5) Run malware checker, delete bad & suspicious urls, save to file
6) Run fast poster
7) Check links
8) Found links = your auto approve list

And now since the backlink checker addon isn't working, it's messed up my whole method of creating auto approve lists.

Just checked it no longer works for me , just shows 0 links. Same , as everyone else. Haven't downloaded the New Scrapebox update so , not sure if that fixed it.

Yep, YSE is shut down for good.
