I think blogcommenting is less effective than before. Looking to that Scrapebox is less effective for better SERP. But.... Scrapebox is more than only a blogcommenting tool. I use it for much more tasks.

I don't get why everyone thinks scrapebox is for spamming. That is a fraction of what it can do. I use it daily to scrape footprints that I can later go back and leave links.

Steps for my favorite use:

1. Check out premium wordpress themes on some of the bigger sites. Look for themes that are community driven, like wikis, web directories, social networks, business directories, classifieds themes and much more.

2. Find a good footprint for it that will return at least 95% success rate when searched in google.

3. Scrape

4. Build massive links.

It's definitely not dead. Like everyone has said, it is not a one trick pony. It has lost of uses and if you only use it for building spammy links to your money site of course you won't see the value. Look into incorporating scrapebox into your overall strategy, and learn methods to really get the full potential out of scrapebox.
