Scrapebox , Backlink Checker Down Because of YSE closure?

Hey,

Is Scrapebox Backlink checker down because of YSE? I just get an error 990 for every URL. If so , when can we expect an update? With another API?

You can still find backlinks pretty easily through Google.

Try doing:

link:domain.com

Or if you want more than 1k results do:

link:domain.com a
link:domain.com b
link:domain.com c
link:domain.com keyword here
link:domain.com keyword there

Ok , But I want to find them in Scrapebox. It saves time when you have a lot of URL's.

What do you mean?
You can use these operators in scrapebox and harvest the links (results).

You can still find backlinks pretty easily through Google.

Exactly , but Google doesn't show all the results. I would just want an update to the Backlink Checker.

Bah, that's bad news if its true, I'm gonna need to check SB now to see, I use that tool quite a lot

No doubt SweetFunny and the rest of the team will be quick onto getting it sorted though. In fact, I thought yahoo had previously announced it was ditching site explorer, so it couldn't have been a surprise...I'd have thought they'd already be working on alternatives if they KNEW it was going to stop working.

No , I just harvested a million Links and double checked them. I'll check again , hold on.

EDIT 1: Just Getting "0" Backlinks found , even though I know there is.

Not scrapping the Backlink checker. It's an Add on.

yes, talking about that addo.. just loaded a list of 400,000 now sbox is harvesting their backlinks as i write this.

^^^ Ditto here, there seems to be a bug with the Backlink Checker Addon. Hopefully there will be fix soon. (fingers crossed)

Guess I found a solution on my own. First thing first, load this into the keyword section:

Then use the "M" button to load the list of urls you want backlinks for. This will merge your URLs with the letters and numbers.

Lst step, type "link:" in the textbox next to "M".

Uncheck all search engines except google, and hit harvest.

This addons failure is because Yahoo backlink has shut down,and the addons use yahoo backlink api
