It seems people either love or hate BMD. It think it's great but I stopped using it over a year ago. It gave you the account URL not the URL of the actual bookmark.

I too hear that BMD is junk but I haven't heard of a better alternative that will actually give you the bookmark URL. I mean a dedicated software package that is maintained by the seller.

I have heard that ubot and zenoposter are good for bookmarking but to hav 1000 bookmarking sites in it means there are 1000 bots to keep tweaked.

Danielson101 what did you end using to do bookmarks with? BTW, that's a killer amount of private proxie! Cool.

Are there any recomended alternatives to BMD anyone?

I think that the developers delibrately made it to have low success rate since they get more money from decaptcher that way. No, it does not support deathbycaptcher and I doubt very much if they will allow it to work with captcher sniper due to the $2 per 1,000 captchers that they will be loosing!

When i got my BMD i had some similar problems like other guys here.

I installed and did the configuration by their recommendations from videos and pdf. For 3 days it was a fight with the software i had 2000+ working pligg sites with 4 accounts each. Everything worked perfect with registration and stuff but when i started to submit bookmarks i had a big fail, only 200+ bookmarks successes.

I asked for a support and they was really fast answering to my tickets, they tried to register and submit with some of the websites that on my machine BMD failed and they success with registration+submission.

After 3 days i decided to re-install my windows and after that everything is working PERFECT. I have like 75% success rate.

Like many guys said:
1) Use proxies
2) register at least 10 accounts (don`t use yahoo emails special yahoo.co.uk. use gmail or pop accounts)
3) try to make usernames to look real like "jhondoe80" and not "jhnjksll"
4) don`t process the emails with BMD function, do it manually (they still need to work that part)
5) use camouflage ( i am not using it at the moment, still need to learn some things about this feature)
6) use decaptcher (you will spend some money here but only when registering the accounts because on submit bookmark part just few of them use captcha)
7) use a good antivirus
8) USE PROXIES!

OVERALL IS A GREAT TOOL. ONCE YOU LEARN EVERY TRICK THIS BIG SOFTWARE WILL BE A FORTUNE. (true that they need to improve some things there, i am trying to create an email for them with modifications/changes recommandations. Come on guys, you have to be smarter than the software. I have had it for over two years and use it often. If you think that you can create 500 accounts and bookmark them in 5 min. you will definitely have problems. It's slow because it tries to mimic human behavior.

There is a small learning curve so if you're having problems with it I recommend going to their forum and reading the training material and I think they have a few videos.

My overall recommendation is to learn how to use the software first.

I use shared proxies from buyproxies and they work just fine. Also do great with scrapebox too!

So for a newbie - would it be better to stick with the bookmarking services that are advertised here on BHW - as opposed to hitting BMD straight away?

Also if buying it - what is the estimated price - and best place to buy...I have seen it promoted from $55 (legit!) but I am not sure about that...if was going for this - I would definately want to be sure its 100% - so I can get support if needed...

It may not "support" deathbycaptcher, but it sure will "WORK" with deathbycaptcher.

Even reading this thread.. Went ahead and reformatted all my proxies to it's
annoying format. Set it all up and now it won't connect to it's cash stealing decaptch service lol

There is a guide called Bookmarking Coach. I noticed it as a WSO.

BMD is much like Scrapebox. It's a great software, but it's not really userfriendly or self-explanatory like Windows is. You need to read a lot to get it working. But once you got it, it works like a charm.
