**If you are selling status updates on fanpages READ THIS**

I have seen an increase in members buying status updates from fanpages lately, there are quite a few different threads where people are looking to buy or sell updates.

One word of advice to BHW members selling fanpage updates:

Do not make status updates promoting any type of javascript injection.

And others like it for example. Facebook will delete most fanpages that promote scripts like these often. I understand that they can/will delete fanpages that spam any links, but not with the same vengeance they will if you promote these scripts, and if you are not 100% anonymous then you WILL get a C&D from this before you can blink. They are being more harsh in regards to this as I have seen in a while.

I have lost over 1.5M fans by doing this, and every day I keep getting messages of others telling me the exact same thing. It is not worth the price you earn for a status update to lose the entire page. You can make much more $$$ just selling the fanpage (to me )!

Use alternate traffic methods for these scripts, just be careful with using fanpages for this traffic.

Hey man.I agree with you.I have never allowed anyone to buy status updates on my pages for this reason however lets say you bought an account with friends using a proxy. and you posted one of these scripts.the real question is does it work?are people making money?because if you post on an account that you dont care abt can this is still work? using a new domain? since your an expert maybe you can shed some light for the rest of us?

I dabbled on it before, and I'm not here to give away any huge revolutionary traffic methods but here are a few things to keep in mind.

-Register domain with fake name/VCC/Paypal
-Offshore hosting and pay for with same fake info
-Only chose a network that will not give your personal details away to FB
-Use proxies and clean your computer of all your personal info (beyond just clearing cookies)
-I personally have a computer completely dedicated to FB only work
-Buy decent PVA's. When FB detects this they will ban most accounts logged into on same IP as the spammer, and all accounts created from same IP as the PVA. Yes you will lose any fanpage associated with those accounts too so always have a "backup admin"


As far as safer traffic, don't use fanpages obviously. You probably will get any accounts banned that start this link or noticeably spam it.

I have bought accounts with 5k friends before for $30-$40 so it's not as big a gamble if these accounts get deleted, a lot cheaper than losing a $500 fanpage.

FB ads can work well. Get a voucher activate and start a campaign then redirect traffic to the viral script. There is plenty of info how to do this.

Basically any way to get traffic to your scripts where you know the visitor is already logged into FB (from other social networks, bots, etc.). This doesn't work as well anymore but you can also get a 5k friend account and tag all the friends with a link to the script. This can provide nice startup traffic when done correctly.
