Hi Guys/Gals,

I need to grab/rip large numbers of images based on keyword BUT only images up to a maximum size of 350 x 450. I checked available tools here but could not find anything suitable. Anyone know of a (hopefully free!) tool that might do this?

Thanks.....

Write a bot to fetch images from google images or Use SB if you have it.

Then Using Adobe Photoshop batch process, resize all to your desired size:)

Pm me the link of the software too, if you find any.
thank you

I'm using php/python for that kind of job, how much images do you need and what do you need desktop app or server script?

Hey, I've been on an Image blogging project now for about a year. Scrape Box is the best I've seen but there is a free image grabber called "Free Picture Finder". It works ok but Scrape Box is really the best. If you are going to write a "Robot" I might recommend UBot studio. Also, I just found this article on a few others:

Outwit

Mozenda

Needlebase

Don't know how good they are but I think they are all free. Also, I don't know how many people really know but MS Excel can scrape info from the web. :)

Keep in mind, if you are going to try to rank for images:

Follow the Google Image Hijacking course and you will do very well as long as your image is likable.

When in doubt, just to a search!
