Hey Guys,

It's safe to say that backlinking your backlinks is a big part of the SEO game these days. I just figured out a method to get a list of all of the backlinks you've already got pointing at your site so that you can take them and throw some more link juice at them.

First go to Yahoo site explorer, and explore the links of the domain you want to find your backlinks for.

Then simply click on the "Export first 1,000 results to TSV" button. Open that document up from within Excel and viola. A list of backlinks pointing to your site that you can easily throw some more anchor text links at.

It may be only the first 1,000 links that Yahoo shows but it's better than nothing.

Hopefully at least one person will find this useful. :)

Yes, I do something like this. I use what I call buffer sites that point to the main site and I blast the buffer with links.

No, you use a buffer site (like Tumblr/Posterous/Another Wordpress blog, etc) which links back to your money site and you do a big linkblasting campaign to that site rather than directly to your money site.

All those backlinks are hitting your buffer site which then feeds that backlink juice to your money site. Tumblr and Posterous are great for that.

I don't get this part, You put anchor texts on your money site pointing to your backlinks?

Pyramid linking is awesome :)

The best part of it is you don't have to worry much about a penalty because you blasted 1,394,093,038 backlinks at your buffer sites/pages :D

You'll also want to keep a list of all "verified" backlinks that you build so you can juice them up too. If you're building pyramid style this would mean juicing each level...except for the money page (and tier 1 in some cases it just depends on how value those are and if you've monetized that level also)

do you guys blast buffer blog comments? is it even possible?

i've always blasted my 2.0's and even articles but never blasted my buffer layer comments.

No I would say that is probably pointless. Why blast a shitty link with another shitty link.

I thought I had been reading lately that Yahoo Site Explorer is being discontinued... ?

It's very important to backlink to your backlinks. A backlink with backlinks is better than a backlink without backlinks. Even with blog comment backlinks, you can backlink to blog comment backlinks if you really want those backlinks to flow link juice to your initial tier of backlinks.

Backlinks. :D

im only getting into this now. right now i create tier 1 web 2.0 and then i create more web 2.0 on my tier 2 pointing to my tier 1. i blast tier 2 with SB. continue the process until i see results. SEO is a long and hard game but when you are there, it pays off dividends.

Honestly I think you are wrong. Why would I waste my time blasting shitty blog comments? Are you just saying things you have regurgitated from the warrior forum?

I really don't think google is thinking, "hmm... I should give these shitty scrapebox blog comments some more credit because of the other shitty blog comments linking to them." But hey, you never know right?

assuming they were quality, manually posted comments, then i guess the answer would be BACKLINK EM! :D

Ya you could, then you are giving everyone else who has a link on that page a boost as well. Probably not worth the effort in my opinion. Do it mainly for your own posts (articles, web 2.Os, etc..).

Blogs dont have a problem getting indexed and the main reason for backlinking your backlinks is to get them indexed and to give them a sort of push

Exactly. You want to back link your back links that have trouble getting indexed, such as forum profiles. In order for Google to index a forum profile with 0 postings, it needs to go Index -> Member List -> P -> Page 4 -> {whatever profile you have starting with P}

These don't get indexed much because they're buried, they're not linked to regularly (nobody's linking to page 4 of members starting with P).

This will help INDEX your links (in which case you won't see them in site explorer anyways.)

What you guys are talking about is still beneficial, building PR to your back links. This is completely different from trying to index your links. Say you have a link from a PR0 page... Blast that page til it's PR2.. Poof, you now have a PR2 back link. Much better than 0.

Not really, your anchor text would be the one giving off the initial link juice. Creating more relevant authority within that site. Your an imbecile to think backlinking to a crappy backlink doesn't do anything.

I've ranked with only blog comments and forum profiles all interlinking randomly with multiple tiers.

You are merely stating your opinion, not facts.
