I would recommend ‘Keyword country'... Though its not a link building tool, but this tool helps in finding credible sources for manual link building.

Its a paid tool, but you can start with its free trial version.

You can still find tools that are White Hat to help out in certain aspects of IM.

Check the downloads section of the forum, you'll find a lot of good stuff there.

Market Samurai - freely attainable in downloads section, i think the link still works. Good for market research and competition


To my knowledge there are not really a lot of free or freely available methods for building tons of links but there are some low cost tools that help.

There are a lot of whitehat uses for Scrapebox. It's not free, but it's cheap enough to make it worthwhile. You can find relevant sites to ask for guest posts or find posts where you can submit relevant comments to.

Onlywire is a plugin that will post to about 50 different social services. That's pretty on-board.
AMR is grey-hat. A lot of the white-white SEO's like at SEOMoz don't like it, but it's very useful for a lot of things. Also not free. Cracks are out there but they typically don't work.

Really, if you want to stay completely white hat, your best bet are guest posts and leaving good comments on blogs. If I were you, I would at the very least try to some grey to blackhat stuff, because otherwise you'll never rank.
