I also have a few amazon sites. Some of them are whitehat with absolutely no backlinks. They are making about $30 each per month. And now I am working already for a while on new sites that hopefully will take off more. (And will have proper backlinks...)

Someone mentioned the Omekase widget - don't use it, as it does not work very well. It never displays accurate ads. Instead use other widgets where you put your KWs in.

Yes, it can be run. Most of the product review sites are using Google ads and selling products through amazon ads.

I make money on the side from Amazon, by referring hot products to friends, family etc. Good amount of money to be made by just doing this .
