Would this be an effective project for increasing SERP. manually creating 30 different web 2.0's, and updating them with one new 500 word article once a month. So 30 unique articles a month total.

also an extra 15 submitted to article directories. All unique. Also with each article in the web 2.0 should i link to my money site or should i not link some of them to make them look more "real" ?

Would this project make a major difference to make rankings? or is it too much/not enough. My site is 4 months old and has about 3 major keywords in the top 10, really want to get them in the top 3.
Any help appreciated :)

10-15 pieces of good content for each Web 2.0 is a good start. You could really start with just 6-12 Web 2.0's.

Best to submit to the top directories.

One way to do this is have 2 links out; one to the money site and one to an authority site, e.g. CNN.

Also once you have created your first tier of backlinks (Web 2.0 + article directories), you should promote them by backlinking them.

This depends on the competitiveness of the keywords. Web 2.0's and article directories can provide good contextual links on trusted sites, but combine this with other backlinking methods too, to ensure your site has a diverse link profile. Track your rankings and see what works. Then rinse and repeat and you should do well.

The best thing is diversity - don't give too much thought to web 2.0 properties, but add links from article directories, bookmarking sites, . Edu .gov links. Then backlink all of these as well. Try to get as many different ip addresses pointing to your money site as possible. That's why I would not only concentrate on web 2.0 as they are quite limited in numbers.

How can I get backlinks from web 2.0's. Do i need to creat a blog and weite article?

How would i get a duplicate penalty if every article i write is unique? :s

the best way you can do it is the way you described! just go slowly not to wake up stupid panda...

It's a good plan you have, especially those part that you want your Web 2.0 to be big in time, not just 1 site pages. This is a very good part of your strategy. Some sites have limitations though (e.g. Webs you can have just 10 pages in a free account), but doesn't matter. still it's a good plan.

It's a good strategy, but I think it's better to have 10 2.0 properties and update them once/week. The blogs will be better considered and so the backlinks to your money site will be stronger.

I think instead of depending on article submissions only you should also follow other link building methods.. If you want good ranking in goole then you should collect backlinks in all possible ways.. Incase you need more suggestions you can PM me too..

I have done this technique with pretty good results. The trick is to make money of the support blogs too if you can by throwing in a CPA banner or getting paid for a post in the blog. It helps the blog look more natural and you pick up a bit of cash too.
