Can someone please tell me why I didn't buy Market Samurai sooner???

I only use it to track my SERPS, the rest can pretty much be done without it. It's pretty slow and buggy at this stage though.

Also I like the fact that you can get all of the backlinks and the anchor text and the PR of your competitors - it suits me because I can do manual link building with that information.

MS is the best for keyword research i'm actually pretty happy using the free version. The rest I use traffic travis.

I agree, great tool. For some reason, MS often only brings back like 90 of my competitors backlinks, even though it says they have like 2000 backlinks.

Any idea why that happens?

No but I did notice it today as well - I was looking at a site that had about 600 unique domain backlinks, but when I analysed, MS only brought back about 15 links..? Not sure why.

MS tends to be a bit buggy these days. I was using the keyword research tool and I was getting 320,000 competition in quotes but in reality there were only 50,000 competing pages.

So be careful,don't trust it 100% if you are using it.

Yea. I was trying to get a list of decent keywords for writing articles, I scraped done keywords from scrapebox (about 5k) put them in MS and it took about to hours to analyse and filter them etc, so I gave up with that feature.

Seo competition and the ability to export all of a sites links with anchor text / PR is what I really like about it.

It is regularly updated, wіth good hеlp from support which is avаіlablе іn аny time аnd program dоеѕ whаt authors claim.

Of соurѕe you cаn do аll of those things manually with freely аvailable online tools but it wіll takе mоrе time and effort tо do. This іs good time-saver.

I just bought a couple weeks ago.. I agree that it has its share of bugs... I like the SEO competition module (when it's working correctly). I also use all the link-assist software for more detailed analysis and reporting for my clients...

MS is great for quick research and nailing down your target Keywords.. I only hope they get the damned software working in a reliable manner... It gets annoying when you are trying to do KW research for a client and you can't because the software hangs up at 20% complete....

I have switched to Traffic Travis now, and so far I am pleased.
But if your version of MS runs smooth, just keep using that.

using it for over a 18 months now, was so good and has such great potential i have stuck with it but for a long time now it has been slow and very very inaccurate, often tells me site ranking is nothing like the reality.

keyword research can take days and be soul destroying at times, but i always hope it will get back to the truly great tool it was.

How do you search deeper than 100 (ranking results for a keyword) with TT?

It is much faster than MS but I have a lot of clients that want to see the ranking once they hit the top 1000.

I paid for MS a while back and it has been steady enough for what I do. I have been trying Traffic Travis Pro as well and use that to verify what MS is telling me.
