PR dropped from 2 to N/A - Should I worry?

I've been actively building links to my site for a while and the activity has increased quite a bit since this month. This includes directory submissions, article marketing, wiki links and so on.

I noticed that my site's PR dropped from 2 to N/A and i'm wondering if this is an 'initial warning' of sorts from Google?

The search seems to be fine from Google and I rank in top 10 for some keywords as well.

Kindly advise.

with which tool did you check the PR of your site ?
recently due to PR update most of the PR checkers were showing PR as NA

Used most of the online free PR checker sites. Checked on my competitor links and their PR's show up normally.

N/A just means not available, not the same as PR0. From what I know, PR hasn't been updated lately so they wouldn't update just for you and not for everyone else. This simply means the data is not available, try again later. Building links will increase your PR. You have nothing to worry about.

well, just to update.. Checked and now my PR shows 3. Couldn't be happier!!

.. and yet right here on BHW, more than a dozen service threads start off with either a "High PR blog network..../High PR Backlinks....."

But you're right on the dot. I've switched to monitoring the Moz authority rankings than PR.

Not quite. There wasn't any. As mentioned, I guess it was a PR retrieving error or maybe google put my domain on hold for further checks. Who knows!!
