Investors on gobig are not looking to do 3K deals generally.
Not sure where to suggest but gobig is not your target market if I am correct in your needing only 3K.

Ya he said that at first and then said most of them want 90%. But there are a few that do small investments and was helping us through the business credit process. Its not easy because of what we are, why most people need to rely on a label. Business credit could do what we're looking to do its just 6-8 months away and we could find an investor on the way.

Hi there swedishsteel,
In my five years of project management I had over 20 investors, and it's pretty easy once you get the hang out of it. Here are some advices that will help you, maybe not in short term, but probably in long term.
Dream bigger
As Steve Jobs and all other big heads use to say, dream bigger. If your project is good, then you can always scale it up, add something more to it, be different, don't copy people.
Take step by step
It's always the same thing, you can't grab the main star with the first step. The market does not know you, you first have to be noticed, so start with little things. Don't ask for 50 000$, but ask for 5000$. For some people 5000$ is nothing, believe me, I had investors who did not care about any details, they just wired the money and got back to their business without minding mine - for 6 months, until the payback.
Show value
We love our money, investors love it more. So show them that their money is safe with you. Heck, I took a video of my birth certificate together with my bank acc and a notary holding it so one guy can be assured that I'm serious about this business and if I fail that I can get him his money back.
Get rid of the "yeah, right"
When I first saw your "pitch", you said 500$ on every 1$ invested. I was like "yeah, right". Which means that the rest of the guys here, or anywhere, will tell you the same. Try to be realistic. Try to tell them that on every 500$ invested they get 700$ back + a share in the profits. Or something similar, just try to be realistic with your expectations and the ones from the investor.
Present it properly
Someone mentioned it already here, so let's summarize it:
- you don't live in a car
- you have a project worth of 100 000$ (or some other number)
- someone can be a part of it and earn with you
- you have a proper presentation of the project together with details
Don't look for strangers if you already have friends
Find 5 friends which can invest 100$ in to your business.
Spread the word that you are doing on something serious.
Try to find the golden egg in your city.
