Monthly Data transfer / bandwidth for common BH tools?

If I'm renting a capped VPS, what is the monthly data transfer I should expect from common BH tools, like ScrapeBox, Link Wheel Bandit, Xrumer, AMR, etc.?

(Please don't tell me to rent uncapped. I'm just kicking the tires here.)

That depends on the tool you use and how you use it. If you are going to be running the tools everyday I would try and find a VPS provider that isn't capped. If it is shoot for 1 TB+ transfer a month.

I'll say about 5tb per month sounds good, that is if you use scarpebox and xrumer constantly. For AMR I don't need that much something like 5GB is fine. So a total of 5.005tb if you want to use all those tools.

If this is a big concern for you, look for unmetered ones. That way you won't get a surprise fee at the end.

I checked my logs once with my ISP (I have fibre to my house 100mbps dedicated).

I used between 1-1.5 terabytes/mth on average. The max was over 2TB when I ran 6-7 clients of scrapebox 24 hours a day + other SEO tools on top of them most of the time.

Really? That seems low given other people's reports.
On the other hand, I've read your posts in the past and find you to be quite credible.

Not sure how much xrumer would add... I don't own it.
The #s I am running now are probably higher than I used to do... not sure.

5TB seems more than ample...could be wrong, you'd have to see how much you use it.

1 tb sounds low for 6-7 instances

I don't harvest URLs the way normal people harvest URLs for blog commenting (AA list creation anyway)
That could be responsible for the difference.
The system I use generally grabs 60mb of blog links+ without using more than about 60mb of bandwidth.

A 100Mbps port maxed out 24/7 would use 33.33Tb a month (approx, and you'll never do that much anyway!)

10Mbps = 3.33Tb
1Gbps = 333.33Tb (Again, both approximates)

Yeah def didn't get close to maxing anything out... ever.
Could usually do 5-6mb/s on torrents while running all of those instances.

You could run a bandwidth monitor on your VPS. It would give you an approximate idea of where you're at.
