Celebrating my 700 posts: Free Adwords advice thread.

What do you think about CPA + adwords =?
Can I make some money or is it hard?
Can I make a landing page and then redirect the traffic to CPA offer, will google ban my adwords account or they don't monitor once they approve the ad?

Nothing is hard in this world if you put sincere effort and you know the stuff.
Yes, you can make a landing page and then redirect it to the CPA offer but there's something more to it which you should understand. Think out of the box and you should be fine. No spoonfeeding for BH stuff here.

Your ad can be reviewed anytime after the approval.

Thanks John. Appreciate your concern. No I'm not going to play with people's money!

So since CPA and promoting other people's products with their money is out of the question, looks like a beginner can't make money from Adwords if they don't own a product. Or am I missing something?

Everyone is a beginner at a stage and we have all learnt with practice only.
I'll help you get started:

If you are willing to take action, just set up a site in a niche where cpc would be low. Then promote the site using adwords instead of doing SEO. Show the business owners that you are on top of the results (search network ads are always above organic results). Get them signed up with a monthly membership and make money from them directly. Reinvest the money in SEO and minimize the advertising expenses.
Use a $100 adwords coupon and if you're using a keyword with low cpc, the $100 coupon should be enough.

Besides clicks, how do you analyze which keyword is the one which is bringing in actual sales/conversions?

I have a gaming site.
I met a seller on flippa and he told me he buys traffic from adwords upto 30k uniques a day for like $300. Is that possible? Adwords sometimes was charging me for upto $1 per click, same keywords.

that is theoretically possible but I am not yet able to setup a campaign which gives me $0.01 cpc, that too for US visitors. The charge of $1 per click could be of search network. Usually the cpc on search network is significantly higher than the display network.

In the open forum, I'd just suggest using the keywords relative to the main keyword where the keywords you add do not include the target ones but attract similar traffic.
Hope that makes some sense.

That's a nice idea. Thanks for sharing!

What is the longest amount of time you've have to wait to have an ad approved?

Do you have any basic guide to bidding for CPM?
