So what is the point of ME(for example) building more niche sites when my 1st niche site got hit by panda (i think). Ranking was dancing for a while, site is old 4 months, it got good ranks than already 2 weeks my ranks are dropped for all keyword except the main one. I Continued high PR backlinking and adding content but nothing !

So what now, what motivates me to build more niche sites when i know i will make them in similar way and get hit by panda again (I USE HIGH PR backlinks, unique content, some bookmarking)

"what motivates me to build more niche sites when i know i will make them in similar way and get hit by panda again" --> money?

Were you making money off this setup? If you did and the ROI is reasonable, then why not creating more sites?

I think you answered yourself. Your website is 4months old. What do you expect? Keep building links and reward will come.

Also, seo it's a long term business.

Good luck

Panda 2.6 is a little different. It seems like the SERPs are locked right now which is extremely frustrating. I don't think this is going to last. I think google will clean up this whole mess before Christmas.

If you don't feel like building more sites of your own look at the web 2.0s that are doing better since Panda 2.6. Build on some of those and backlink them until they get the rank you desire. That has been a part of my post Panda 2.6 strategy, just in case.

So i shouldnt expect steady ranksings before its 1 year old ?

I kinda' feel mojamalatajna's pain here. I mean, it's like we're all Google's slaves! =X Incidentally, how often does Google update Panda? Is it like a periodic thing? Or do they just pounce on ya' out of the blue? =D

Well nobody knows what is google up to

The point is to keep experimenting until you find something that works for you. Once you do that, you'll be safe until the next Panda update hits and the money will roll in.

And Google owes us nothing. It's a tough competetive business with constantly changing rules. Study those who got through the last Panda update and adapt. Adapt or die.

So the only problem with my site is AGE i guess ?

Actually your problem is that you rely on Google for money??

Why not just get a job at Google.. that is really the ONLY way Google will ever pay you..

I rely on people who visit my site trought search engines and than to affiliate networks

It's NOT about age. If the PANDA smacked you there's something wrong with your site and it's probably the content. Is it original? Unique? Well Written? Do you have a high number of ads compared to the amount of content on the pages?...especially above the fold?

That's my conclusion as well. The SERPS are definitely locked....at least the page one stuff is. It's strange....after Panda 2.6 I used Bass Tracker Boat's link pushes to move keywords from >100 in the SERPS to page 2 or 3. That worked extremely well. But trying to move anything on page one is like trying to push a large boulder up a hill.

After Panda 2.6 my best ranking keyword was sitting at #2. I hit it with a ton of BMR links and finally got it back to #1. However, it has since fallen back to #2.

Strange stuff.
