Nofollow links - Your opinion

I have been using Scrapebox a lot recently, and I was wondering whether or not Nofollow blog comments give you any link juice at all (even a tiny bit).

So if I were to build 10k pr1+ nofollow links over 1 month, would that give me any link juice?

Nofollow links will get you no link juice. But it's good to mix in nofollow links with ******** links. This will make your link building seem more natural.

Because I am using Scrapebox to rank for a legitimate business, and I am needing to put all of my money into that right now because it is making a loss


I didnt think that nofollow gave you any link juice, but I saw a study that somebody did with a made up word with 0 competing and they ranked using only nofollow links with the made up word as the anchor text - That is why I asked

Probably nofollow links will get you no link juice but for 100% will increase trust runk of your site - you have to remember to not chose places with alot of spam and outgoing links to spam sites.

NoFollow links are recorded by Google (as you can see in your Google Webmaster Tools), for this reason they obviously have some value, I think one thing we see again and again with Google is they are very good at block artificial inflation, so I think a good mix of clean low quality links and clean high quality links makes for the best concoction when it comes to SEO.

Sorry but that's not true. You do get a ranking boost from nofollow links, but of course not that much as from ******** links.

This is personally what I believe. If you were to imagine google giving a scale of 1-100 of importance for a factor with SEO, if a pr3 d0f0llow link was worth 50 points then a pr3 n0f0llow link could well be worth a few points (if you were to visualize google rankings like that).

Based on my own research, and reading around, it is possible to rank for a keyword with just nofollow backlinks, as long as the outbound links aren't high on the page.

Most people will disagree though =P

No follow links do not pass page rank ('link juice'), but they do pass 'some' authority, especially if you have a high PR link on an authority site.

Also, having a good variety of links (including both do- and no-follow) can only make a site's link profile appear more natural.

Everyone has their "opinions" which are basically regurgitated crap from "gurus". I can tell you that I have some tools that have 100% nofollow sites in the lists and I see serp movements after a blast on brand new sites.

My personal opinion is that it is one of many factors, such as relevance, anchor text, authority of page/site, OBLs, etc. but I disagree 100% with anyone that says G disregards a link because its nofollow.
