Howdy,

Please can some SEO experts help me out. I have a site , in a Gaming Niche. Mind you it's quite competitive one too. But I can't get past #16 without , anything I try can't get pas that rank.

I have Scrapebox too. I created a web 2.0 buffer site and blasted that loads.

If any seo People would look at then , I would be very grateful.

Have you only created web 2.0 sites, and blasted them? You need to build different types of links.

Personally, I'd buy some high PR blog posts, as I've found those work GREAT.

Yahoo site explorer shows you having 2 links. You need to build more links. Then build some more links. Then build some more links. Some keywords take hundreds of links to rank. Many keywords take thousands of links to rank. Very few keywords only need 2 links to rank.

Do you have some money to purchase contextual High PR Homepage links ?
Look at threads by MrE or volund in BST section.

I have Scrapebox & Private Proxies , so I guess I could do it my self?

SB have nothing to do with contextual high PR links. Those are backlinks in articlea in the homepage of private blogs that have high PR. pm me i will give you some examples.

I'm going to try this blast first and see if that makes any difference. Just a 1k on my site. Good idea , or not?

You have not said if your site is new or old and judging by the fact you only have 2 backlinks in yahoo site explorer, I would say it might be fairly new.

My advise would be don't blast your site with SB, I did this once with a new site and it was gone for over 6 months and I was already on page 1 just wanted to be near #1

build more web2.0 sites and blast them if you want to use SB

best to mix up your links write a few article, then blast them too.

I only did 900 to my site. I won't ping them. Let Google find them. I'll build so more Web 2.0 & Articles.

It's only 6 days old.

Haa. Your really funny.

Please add something to the discussion. Secondly there isn't any. What are you taking about?

Mix the links, use some high PR ones. Upload more content regularly and target more than 1 keyword.

Cheers ;)

The blast to my site , made me slide down a couple of places.

ummm lol
I'm in a niche right now that has "<keyword>" in quotations of 8.7 million, 230k searches/mth and top spots rake in >4 million USD/yr

I'm now #16 (after a loooot of work)
Let me tell you, the PR7, PR6, PR5 backlinks I have (when you count all of them there's over 200 d0follows) did less for the site than the automated, though difficult web 2.0 pyramids I made.
There's over 1000 PR3+ d0follow links pointing to the site now with <30 OBL... which is a ton more than anyone else in this niche. I think the #1-#5 spots have <50 PR3+ links pointing to them.

It frustrates me when everyone pretends PR links are worth the ridiculous rates charged.
I've only seen 1-2 examples where someone did this successfully. The sites were old, and they purchased over 1500 permanent homepage links.... this site is ranked #8 in this particular niche, which does show the power of such links, but the links were mostly shitty honestly. My guess is he is spending $5000-10,000/mth for them.
Sadly I'm not convinced that blogposts vs d0follow comments actually matters in the end to the ranking bot. Especially PRless blogposts (ie. what you get when you buy them)

I have found that if you do pyramids right, that they have more power per link than any BP or Homepage contextual link does.
My site shows a mere 1700 backlinks in Majestic, most of the web 2.0s don't show up there. And the site is outranking a lot of sites with 50-60k links, even with decent, white hat, ezine based strategies.

Now that I have the capacity to do 1000-1500 web 2.0s with video embedding every single day (rather than the 50 or so I did previously, at best), I expect the site will soon move to the top 5 without much hassle.
This was done free as far as, the site does not pay monthly fees to someone to give it homepage links.
Even in this niche that is worth so much, it's a very large burden to shell out $10k/mth with no assurance of ranking (in fact several sites that tried this, were severely sandboxed)

Ok , I've brought a SE Nuke Link prymaid so , I guess that will easily get me to #1 ,#2.

SEnuke is garbage, pure garbage.
I've done a fully monty to a website before, that should have been easily captured with 20-30 backlinks, and it didn't even get top 10
I did a ZP pyramid structure (took less time btw!) and it ranked #1 within a week.

I guess I will reinforce the age old SEO concept of LINK DIVERSITY. You want as many different sources of links as possible! You need social bookmark links, profile/blog comment links, high PR article links, etc. Putting too much attention on any one kind of these links is no where near as effective as doing them all.

With that being said, I have found the most effective links to be those from high PR private blog networks.

Hope this helps.

I see no reason to assume that google sees a difference between a high PR d0follow blog comment (since any blog network you buy will likely NOT be in your niche anyway) and a high PR homepage.

I own a private blog network, and both work roughly the same from my experience (I haven't done a controlled study on this, but honestly, while the link diversity itself helps, I don't think tons of high PR homepage links >>>>> a bunch of high PR blog comments)

What's a ZP Link structure?

How many web 2.0 backlinks do you actually have?

What kind of backlinks actually are showing up?

2 links? Come on dude... need to get it together. First; do 1,000 social bookmarks and see where that takes ya. If you need a referral, pm me/.
