Am I the only one having a horrible hard time getting backlinks indexed?
Over the last week, I built a mix of forum profiles, bookmarks and blog comments. About 150 in total. Yeah i know that's not much, but I built them manually. Whatever, that's not the problem. The problem is, out of those 150 links only 12 were indexed. I mean seriously? 12? That's ridiculous
I already pinged all the links multiple times, didn't helped at all.
I also posted them in a few freeblogs i own, didn't helped at all.
Today I created a rss feed which contains all the links and submitted it, but that's my last idea. If that won't work too, I've got no clue what else I could do.

So what the hell is going on there? This isn't my first website, but I never ever had problems like this before. Is it panda which is causing this crap?

It may be cause to Panda updates. But, most of the sites takes time to index and therefore it is not possible to index your all backlinks together. I just want to say wait for some time as well.

I'm having a BITCH of a time. I have submitted at least 40 manual blog comments, 25 forums, 20 articles, 100 bookmarks, 30 articles on 2.0's . I can find the stuff in the search engines, yet ZERO links are indexed after 3 weeks.

Guess it takes longer, but I'm losing faith here. Yahoo site explorer says "we don't have any information in our index" when I look for links there lol, even thought my site is in Yahoo. I even have backlinks to my backlinks backlinks lol

You must first have a lot of patience to learn to have patience. It sounds like you are doing everything right, give it some time.

if this would make you feel better, i have a website also that is 2 weeks old now, and yet google hasn't index it yet. but i don't lose hope, eventually those links will be indexed.

I don't know if this suits for backlinks or not,but if i want a page indexed i just post that link in twitter. in less than 4 hours my link was indexed by google. without tweeting it takes around 2-3 days to index!

It's not so much about patience. I'm ok with it if it takes some time. It just made me wonder, because it never took so long.

Twitter is a good hint. I'll try that. Thanks!

I like for Google to find the links by itself. I think the positives of not having to do any extra work and letting them naturally appear far outweigh the negative of having to wait some time.

I mean if you link constantly it isn't even that important because it's only the initial month or so that you won't be getting links.

you should scrapebox blast this link to get them indexed faster, or you can try linklicious.me

Man, it def is a confidence killer. You don't know how much of your work is actually making any difference, like its all wasted. I've been link building for 2.5 weeks now on a site.

When I go into yahoo to check links, I get:

"No ResultsWe were unable to find any results for the given URL in our index:"

Like seriously? Zero for all my effort of bookmarking, articles, forums, blogs etc. ugh..

Here's a heads up little Bhw trick for you. Take all of your link URL's and go to
html2rss. This will create Rss feeds for all of your links. Next take the Rss feeds to
rssmix, they will turn all of your feeds into one bad-ass feed. Then you can take this
bad-ass feed to identi ca and submit the link on the live time-line discussion board.
You could also tweet this link using a twitter account on their live time-line. These
sites are constantly spidered this approach will take hours not days.

Indexing is not like how it use to be. Ping does not work anymore and rss does work but very shitty.
Like v7z says, you have to build backlinks to your backlinks. Good example for this is like sb blast the shit out of your backlinks.
I use two type of method to get links indexed.
1. For quality links I use backlinksindexer, they are like $15/mo. Very effective. They blast your backlinks for rapid indexing.
2. For shit links like profiles or sb spam I use linklicious.me, same price. Not as effective. They build rss feed on your links massively.
Good luck.

Thanks for the hint, but html2rss didn't really worked for me. I registered at their site and tried to create a rss feed, but when I click the rss feed I just created, it always gives me an error.
But bulkping.com does provide a rss generator too, so I used this one and submitted it to identi.
Although yahoo site explorer still only shows those freaking 12 bl's, my site moved from site 6 to site 3 in serps. Yay! Finally some sort of progress :)

Thanks to you too. I'm going for it now, building links to my backlinks.

I don't know if you have tried this. Apart from tweeting, you could also try to create backlinks from frequently cached sites - I mean, while creating backlinks itself, try to identify the right sites. Like, if you are bookmarking, try Digg, Reddit and that sort which are cached very frequently.

I just blasted a little more than 80k AA links a couple days ago but still only showing with 1 backlink that's been there for a while. Is this normal? About a week ago I blasted a ~5k AA list

Hey man, love your other thread in the backlinks section.

I have to ask, what do consider to be status update websites. Would it be other links such as bookmarking or something like sb rapid indexer?

I have exactly the same problem.

Will give your technique a go, thank you.
