And also its an absolute monopoly that makes other web hosting companies in Indian to ruin.( Associate project from Hostgator India and Google India will Indian goverment takes step towards this? I hope not!

Indian PAN numbers are in this format - AAAAA0000A
Where A = any alphabet and 0 = numbers..... JUst try if you can get one now

My Thoughts-

However, they have not mentioned how much will they charge after the 12 month period.

This is the problem...generally renewal price of such offers are high and domains are either difficult or impossible to transfer. So if you won't mind giving up your domain after 1 year,I'll say go for it.But if you are going to put some "serious" efforts on that Domain...then better use $1 coupon on Godady...Bigrock is the best option for Indian users.

Another problem-

I will rather pay a few bucks for the domain than sharing all my info with Google.
