nice method i could use on one of my sites

Wow, how the hell did I not read this thread til last night? Simply amazing and easy to do. Hell I already am a member to what seems like a gazillion message boards so this is a natural. Signed up for clickbank and amazon last night and am going to spend a day or two checking out niches and matching them to what I think would be good products, then I will find message boards via google alerts to join. While letting my new memberships 'mature' some I will get my review sites in order and then intergrate those into my postings on those sites.


I can see how this can be twisted in many many ways, facebook, twitter, and even some offline stuff I see as a way to get people to check out your aff link and hopefully buy.

hm not sure, i've setup a site about bodybuilding and protein products. I reviewed 4 products. dunno why but obviously this niche seems to be too small , but can this really be? bodybuilding is a huuuuuuuuuuuge scene.

I 've setup google alerts for every product and general like "protein powder", but i only get like 6 alerts a day. wtf?

Am I doing something wrong?

Bodybuilding Niche seemed to be a huge market and i'm pretty sure it is !
Just try to target larger audience like "Bodybuilding Products", "Bodybuilding Product Reviews", "Bodybuilding Tips", "How to make muscles" and something like that

If you set up alerts for lets say " [Product X] Review " , i'm pretty sure you won't get much alerts as it happened to you bro , unless the product is something everyone heard about.

So yeah , just try to target a larger audience with general keywords as how I mentioned above

I've started working on this method and so far I came up with a review site that looks catchy & clean , tonight i'm going to start with the posts.

I just wanted to ask you :

- What should I use to cloak the affiliate link ?


I couldn't figure out why it's necessary for this method to cloak the affiliate link , is there any thing against CB rules ?

I'm looking forward for your explanation , if you have the time.
I just want to make sure i'm doing everything ok and i'm going to be safe in the long-run.

I am having a HELL of a struggle getting my replys to google alerts posted and past the moderators. As soon as I post a link, im finished, it never gets posted. Anyone else ever have this issue at all? How did you get past it?

Get your post count up on the site before trying to post a link. Do 10-20 posts and then do the one with your link in it. This has been working for me.

I read all posts (very helpfull thread OP - thanks ) , went to name and bought domain with free whois, than bought hosting with hostgator, thank found a nice review theme for WP and now i have to go to job hope ill finish rest when i get home ...

And one more thing - Google Alerts are awsome

OP already suggest you few times to use your own domain + hosting for better results. You have to look more natural, with blogger you look too fake.

Make sure to set the type of your alerts to "discussions" and/or "blogs", this will definitely help

The idea is not to post cloaked aff-links anywhere but to create a review site with content and information and the affiliate links on this site. This reviewsite is then going to be advertised by you all over the place.


And to all the people asking question here: Most of these have been ansered already, if you want to make money you should take the time to read over this thread as there are not only the answers to your questions but many brilliant ideas hidden
