Scrapebox Harvesting: Always low results. Suggestions?

I think the issue with the same group of non-related sites being returned from the engines has to do with the footprint. When I find/use my own footprint I see the quality of results increase.

Also, sometimes for targeted harvesting I like to use http://www.outwit.com/ with the 100 results per page toggle. Normally scrapebox will only grab the first 100 links and then move onto the next keyword. With the above I can manually crawl through about 600 links per keyword. Even though this is more manual, I think ultimately I save more time and my targets are better.

1. Generate а LOT of keywords. In the thousands.

2. Run thе harvester and gеt a few hundred thousands results. (If yоu're interested in јuѕt ******** domains, harvest Wordpress blogs only.)

3. Remove duplicate "domains," leaving 1 post from еaсh site harvested.

4. Run а PR check on thе domains аnd remove any that аrе PR3 or lower.

5. Run your results thrоugh thе ******** / NoFollow add-on inside of Scrapebox if уоu want tо pinpoint ******** blogs.

6. Harvest the innеr pages of your blogs uѕing the "site" command іn the keyword harvester.

7. Run them аll through the blog analyzer, saving thе onеs thаt аre open for comments.

8. Run аnother PR check on the innеr pages.

9. Save аny PR1 or higher posts.

Sorry, but thats definitely not true.

Really,

I thought scrapebox, in mutithreaded mode and other modes, only grabs the results from the first page displayed by a searched keyword, and that scrapebox did not crawl the pagination.

I was almost certain this was the case.

If you ever run with multithreaded mode turned off. You'll notice that for each keyword only 100 results is pulled before it goes to the next keyword. And I remember talking with others about this limitation being the case last year before I had even experimented with non-multithreaded mode. That was one of the reason why very large keyword lists were recommended so we can use the search result variation to make up for the lack of pagination.

Can anyone else back me up on this? Or back up softtouch2009 so we can know for sure?

Right from the first version it's harvested all results the engines return and goes to the very last results page. If yours is stopping after 100 then it's because you have set it to only harvest 100 results per keyword. When you first downloaded it's set to 1,000 results by default.

This is the reason I liked the original harvester results area better than the new one that just says "Max results 1000" or whatever.

It used to list what keyword it was on as well as the number of results it was on (keyword 1 - 100, keyword 1 - 100, keyword 1 - 100.. so you knew it was at at least 300 on keyword 1.)

I really wish they'd bring that back, it'd be very helpful, especially for troubleshooting issues like bringing back very few results. Plus, it was more interesting to watch than the static screen displayed now. :)
