I'm not the proud owner of a iPad2! Other then a program like LogMeIn where I can access my server, do you guys have any other suggestions for cool SEO/just cool Apps I should get?

Not having flash on the ipad is a letdown.

I fine Splashtop to be a much better remote desktop solution compared to Logmein (personal taste). Look into Skyfire browser as a workaround to flash. Talkatone is a free and worthwhile VoIP. I use FTPontheGo to connect to my server. Pages, Numbers, Keynote is the Word, Excel, Powerpoint equivalent. Last but not least GoodReader is in my opinion the PDF reader to get.

Also, you should consider jailbreaking to get the apps free/etc (hit me up through PM if you need help).

Tons of games I can recommend if you want, but it seems you are looking for more productive apps :).

You could get yourself some Fruit N1nja and diddle around. In my opinion the iPad is nothing more than a toy, especially now that we have a new wave of high performance ultrabooks like the ASUS Zenbook.

As a tablet owner myself I have to disagree with those who say tablets are toys-- I initially thought the same thing but now my tablet is indispensable. I am constantly checking emails, websites, and doing assignments on it (QuickOffice Pro app). It has helped me be far more productive than I could have been on my laptop alone.

I would highly recommend QuickOffice Pro for showing presentations to clients and writing/editing word documents. Also, I recommend dropbox or box.net app to synchronize PC and tablet files.

I was thinking of getting a tablet too. Which one though ipad or some other one?

Well I am a huge user of flash. I watch videos for fun when I feel like it and I feel that without flash im disabled technologically... so I wouldnt get an iPad (for me, personally).

You should have got an Asus transformer. Comes with a keyboard dock for a physical keyboard when you have the room. Otherwise, it features the (approx.) same screen size as your iPad 2.

The only difference is that you can do a whole lot more on the Asus Transformer (out of the box comparison) than on the iPad. Forget about putting music or movies through iTunes first. Drag and drop and watch. Simple. No converting between files necessary (for most common file types).

I personally love being able to download torrents and other various attachments from the internet and save it in my own file structure (sort of like on my PC) on the SD card or in-built memory. Not to mention the awesome widgets you can place on the 'desktop'.

My dad has the iPad 2, and having used it for around 2 months before getting the Asus slate, I have a pretty good command over it. It just feels a lot less 'activated' than the Asus Transformer, if that makes some weird type of sense.

Either way, they're good gadgets to have. My dad loves his.

I was just thinking even google analytics uses flash, so you can even track users with google on an ipad....

Not really interested in jail breaking, but I will check out Splashtop and Skyfire. Pity I can only Quote one person at a time on tapatalk.
