Hi everybody!

Can you tell me exactly what is SMS marketing and how can we sell our products or services via SMS marketing?

Regards,
Micheal

SMS marketing uses the short messaging or text messaging through mobile/cell phones. It is much better than other marketing methods as it targets the mobile/cell phones which are close to a person almost all the time. Mostly software programs are used for bulk sms marketing by companies.

now a days sms marketing become very popular and this would be the future of advertisement

I quite agree and the SMS Dock looks damn good ..... and the domain name is very memorable to me;>) I like it

Without knowing your goals and objectives, I strongly suggest working with a mobile marketing professional to provide strategic insight when using a self service provider. The MMA is constantly updating it's guidelines and best practices and without the guidance from a mobile marketing professional utilizing a self service sms provider could be detrimental to your marketing strategy.

let me ask you something... how do you send those sms? do you use any program to scrape local phone numbers?

SMS Marketing is very good and easy to send sms in bulk but its not easy to collect Data and I mean by data real people phone #s .

its looks good all the best for your business

From what I heard its kind of expensive and hard, unless you actually have some seriously valuable to market with.

we offer blackhat and whitehat sms/text messaging. if you want to see all our services go to dhinteractive dot net
I will be blunt...unless you have a product that is highly marketable or you have a client with deep pockets, then you will have trouble making money off of smsing. I have been running campaigns for close to 2 years now...the only campaigns that turned a profit for me on a consistant basis were click to call and my timeshare call center. if you are trying to hit the cpa networks for their best offers and send them via text...that will be a tough road.

I would suggest you start off with a guy like me who isnt going to rape you on pricing. We pay $.025 per send up to 250k white hat...so we charge $.04 to cover us making some money.

now black hat is way cheaper, but you take the chance of getting shut down within hours...so if i get all the sim cards set up and paid for and you were expecting to put out 100k for $1000 and we get shutdown after 20k messages go out then you are SOL.

I could go on and on about sms, so if you are interested i can help.

Good Point ; Like everything else i've also dabbled with in IM there is also risk to reward and many factors to consider Like for instance, Ip's getting blacklisted & banned in email marketing, w/more accounts or socks needed to send via internal mailing system/posters or as you said for SMS before you get shutdown quickly.

SMS is the highest method of target marketing because it allows campaigns to be targeted to specific customers. SMS service providers offer numerous features that assist you in planning and implementing your sms marketing campaign.

The website is http://smsdock.com" We create opt in sms messaging lists.

Uh oh looks like I have a competitor in my own neck of the woods. Perhaps we can work on stuff together down the road..
