Nice to see the update and support with this locker.
Here are the new features on Version 2:

1. Ability to choose CSS selectors on locked page, to act as "onclick" triggers for locker appearance.
2. Ability to use CSS selectors within lockers, to act as "removal Timers" (allows social sharing).
3. Ability to include html in lockers, along with iframes, scripts, etc
4. Ability to set up PHP variables as "tokens" to then include in lockers.
5. All offers get added to a general pool. Each locker can add or remove offers from the pool using one-click (they get added to or removed from that locker, persisting in the pool).
6. Place offer links where you want them, call them via a token.
7. Stats functionality
8. Redirect on locker removal (no possibility to view destination link if locker is not removed)
9. Clone lockers
10. Single postback url works for ALL lockers
11. Re-use skins - upload once only, and they then get included in a browse-able gallery.
12. Pause button on offers
13. Ability to customise messages ("sorry-No offers available", "please wait whilst we verify...", "return to choose another")
14. Locker can be set to not appear if no offers available for the visitor's country.
15. Ability to require visitors to complete a pre-defined number of offers prior to unlocking.

MY REVIEW:

I seriously considered buying version 1, but kind of thought that everyone was just friends of "meathead" and giving him reviews so I backed away - With all the bullshit i sling everyday on the net, I'm hyper aware. Then when I decided to take the plunge it was $297.

When I checked back, and on my birthday none the less, it was $97 so I thought what the hell, I might as well.

INSTALLATION:
I have very little programming knowledge, but I can work the hell out of wordpress. I followed the guide to the letter, but still hit a problem. I emailed tech support and they were right on. I was running the wrong version of php. (By the way, hostmonster will upgrade you for free, just ask).

After getting everything installed, I followed the guide which was tailored made for me, the kind of guy with no coding experience, and just wants to install and go. It's very professionally written. It has a Quick Start guide and then a detailed version. Perfect for us ADD internet marketers. Quick Start guide to get up and running, details for when I'm on the toilet taking a shit! (I live and breath this stuff). The customization is phenomenal.

COMPARISON to NETWORK GATEWAYS:
This is all I have experience with. I have CPAL34d, blamads, leadbolt and Adscendmedia accounts so I know network gateways.

I installed this versus my adsencdmedia gateway which typically earns about $2.10 per hour. Nothing big, but steady. The first hour I actually earned nothing...then the 2nd hour I earned $6.30, then $8.40. and it looks like I will be somewhere in that range by 9:00 tonight.

I'm not sure exactly why it earns more, but I think it has something to do with the network gateways not opening exactly when they should. As if they want the user to keep filling out more info. I also put a note where CLP2 allows you to have tips. I just say - "type in your email and the gateway will open before you complete your survey".

Also - you still have the option of using a timer - which I will try on my other sites.

If you are on the fence, you should definitely do it, not to mention you can blank the referrer which has a whole other host of benefits as you can imagine.

I am not a friend of meathead's, nor have I ever contacted him for anything ever - this is a straight up honest review. A product that over delivers deserves praise, and the creators deserve to sell more. Already - I can say this is easily the best $97 I've spent on an internet marketing product to date. Period!

Meathead - not saying we couldn't be pals. lol. :target:

Hi there,

If i say, put a free TRIAL offer(ie Netflix) will it confirm instantly once my user has completed the sign up process? and how does that work. I may be interested to buy this content locker if it has this feature.

Thanks!

Let me get this right As long as the offer is incentivizable you can wrap the content locker around it? Does this software come with a guide? Is there a demo I can see?

My bad I saw that it comes with the steb by step guide

Yep, that's right. You don't have to just use incent offers though, the blank/fake referrer function means this isn't necessary.

Yes, comes with a full manual.

As long as the offer supports postback, that will work fine. Or you can set it to unlock on a timer.

Thanks!

*HALLOWEEN SPECIAL*

Price reduced to $87 for the next 24 hours!

Have a great day!

1) Now day is that easy to target twitter traffics to the site with the content lock pro install and make money?

2) Is that the license will lock on the main domain or hosting server because let say if i change the hosting server on future but still using back the main domain, will the license still working?

1) Some of our customers use Twitter to drive traffic effectively, although there are plenty of other traffic sources that work well, too.

2) If you change server, the licensing will still work fine. The only thing that needs to remain constant is the license domain (although we can move this if absolutely necessary).

Thanks!

I just ask my server provider and they say it support only php 5.2.17 and not yet 5.3. Is that still working fine?

This might seem like a dumb question, but how do you actually use it? I use companies like Leadbolt and AdscendMedia and they already have their own content locker which works well. Could you put their offers into this locker instead?

No, you need PHP 5.3. Just pick up a cheap account with Hostgator to host the script on. Shouldn't be more than a few $s a month.

You insert any links you like. But instead of being stuck with offers from one network, you can use any offers you like from a number of networks. Will save you time on split-testing networks and means you can run non-incent offers if you like, too.

Is the PHP 5.3 is for main domain only to verify the license?

How about on other site that i want to add the content locking feature?

Dang that's very enticing. Is this allowed by CPA networks? I won't get banned or anywhere near there correct?

So basically I paste in my ad code given to me and it'll appear in the locker, right?
Also, is there an option where you give your visitors an option to skip the offer if they don't want to do it?

Might buy it since it's $10 off today!

PHP 5.3 is only for the licensed domain and install. The locker itself doesn't require it.

It's fine with the networks assuming you use incentivisable offers. I'm sure Adscend would be fine with you using it.

You build your locker, paste in your links and then put your locker live. It's simple to use (especially once you've made your first locker and got the hang of it).

You can turn forced completion on/off as you wish.

Thanks!

Can i register a content locking pro license later because my current host server not support php 5.3.

Like to know what is the license generator site url because i just buy the content locking pro? Maybe you can pm me.

Sure! Your licence is tied to your installation URL so as long as the installation URL stays the same you won't have any issues.

However if it will be different then just send a quick email to support at contentlockpro dot com with your transaction ID once you're ready and we'll get the URL changed for you.

So we need a separate license for each site? Or can we install on one domain and "call" the locker on other domains?

No. You just need one domain to install CLP on and to tie the license to.

Once it's installed, you generate locker codes and can embed them on as many sites and domains as you like.
