i need the c-panel because im hosting my own website if you know on what i mean im new to the web design thing.

i dont have a hosting service for that that's why i need the c-panel so i can get my website all set up you know what i mean? if you have the c-panel program and would want to share it with me i'd appreicate it.

Why would you need cpanel when there are a ton of open source ones out there? I personally use http://www.ispconfig.org/ispconfig-3/

You need a stand alone "server" in your house in order to install ISPconfig 3 as the .iso installs your favorite flavor of linux (I use Centos 5) and once that is done, you install ispconfig 3 on top.

Why not just buy some cheap hosting and use their cpanel? You can get cpanel hosting for like 4 dollars a month.

Dude... You install C-Panel on your server... Not your PC... Unless... Are you hosting from home?
