Monetsing ages domains with little pr

Just bought a nice domain that's 6 years old and has a PR of 2.
Wondering, how could i monetize this? I was thinking I could flip it, sell links, but what else could I possibly do?

how many exact searches are for the keyword inside your domain ?
try to build an authorithy domain regarding that niche.it it's a niche for that.
try to make contextual homepage posts for your other sites.
try to flip it.

Thanks for the advice. I'm pretty sure it ranks for nothing at the moment, but it's a nice keyword based domain. I think the main constraint here is the domain age follow by the little bit of pr it has. Otherwise, it has no other benefits I guess

Sell homepage blog posts.

As in a blog post with a link to their site? For 5 dollars a pop? Lol, I wanna make a bit more, but blog posts are an awesome idea.

adsense, amazon affiliate, cpa offers... get your PR higher before selling links on your site...

What I don't understand is, if the domain is expired and you go to register it, how does it maintain it's old age if you just registered it? Wouldn't the DA be when you registered it? Or when the actual name was first registered?

Another question if anyone can answer, I've seen a 10 year old domain that as the exact keyword.com for a 60k/month search. Would it make it any easier ranking for the keyword with an EMD and 10 years of trust with google?
