Is that called content stealing?

Let's take example the niche is make money from affiliate marketing.
I have taken all the content of chinese websites and translated it into english using google translator and edited the spelling mistakes.
Is that called content stealing or can i get sued using this method.?

suing is not so simple specially to sue somebody in usa from china and just change it as much as you can.

Yes it is content stealing but there is little or nothing that they can do for you.

One of the most excellent ideas I've ever heard. I wonder if google cross checks languages for duplicate content?

It has been used in the past but I must say you can instead go rewritten articles, they are far better and time taken for rewriting the article is also very less as compared translating and then editing the grammatical and sentence structure errors. I would go for rewritten content rather than this method. There is no possibility of being sued but you aren't going to benefit out of this. I would seriously recommend get the content rewritten on budget.

It's definitely content theft. They can sue you...it's all a matter of whether or not they catch you and if it's worth the time. Some companies pursue everything.

It depends. If they don't say anything about allowing others to use their content, then it could be content theft. I say "could be" because they might not care if people use them but don't explicitly state this on their site. However, some websites specifically say on their copyright pages or somewhere else that you can use their content, so it wouldn't be theft if they gave permission. I've seen some sites to where all you have to do is to put them as the "source" of the article and not even leave a link back to them. So it just depends on their rules.

Anyhow, still a great idea that you have.
