n00b question: what to post on web2.0 sites

reading up on all the posts about linkwheels/linkpush and the use of web2.0 sites in them, I'm wondering what you actually post on those websites?

I'm using the Onlywire plugin to post updates to all the sites whenever I post an update on my (money) blog. But is that wise to do? Seems pretty obvious if you have a bunch of sites exactly keeping in sync with your blog.
Is it wise to mix in some other postings/bookmarks from sites?
Problem there would be that you are actually boosting your competitors if you want to keep it relevant..

a bit confused here on what the best way to do this is.. any insights?

When people talk about using web 2.0 sites they're referring to posting content to those sites with backlinks to their site. Some use spun content and some use unique content. Personally I use both. Sites that I use unique content on I actually try and rank to capture long chain keyword traffic and also add some authority to the links to my site.

For bookmarking it's always best to have some variation in your bookmarks. Meaning don't just bookmark 1 site. If you have multiple sites than bookmark those too. It makes your account look more legit. With that said I haven't found bookmarking to be all that effective outside of getting links indexed. You may get some trickle traffic from it but that's about it. Bookmarking links don't seem to carry much weight anymore.

You can use tools like senuke x to post on web 2.0 sites, you prepare a campaign with content (different content than your money site) with links to your money sites in it.

There are different methods as you already know, pyramids, link wheels etc etc. But in general you should post content relevant to the content of your money site, but not the exact same please... That hurts more than it does good

thx.. thats what I figured, but why are so many people using OnlyWire plugin then? thats pushing the same content...
