Is Wordpress really the way to go?

I've been seeing many Wordpress users here, and would love to know the advantages over any other blogging platform.

Is it the ease of use, or quick startup, or are there other reasons?

The reason I ask is because I am going to start my own review blog, a serious one, and then some niche sites to generate money along with links to my main blog, and would like to start on the right foot.

honestly, it doesn't take long to get the hang of. there's countless themes and plugins available, and again as you said very quick to get started. that's the reason i mostly like it.

there's trillions of resources and people that can help when you have a problem.

also, knowing how to code isn't necessary. it's great for newbies. however knowing some code is also good, and allows you to do more customization.

Yeah the main benefit of Wordpress is its very user friendly and easy to use . With alot of Free themes , plugins etc . And important thing that you will find almost every kind of tutorials of wordpress even video tutorials on Youtube .

I use it for every single one of my sites, it's so adaptable that it's become so much more than a blogging platform.
Don't know what I'd do without it tbh

What I love most about wordpress is the insane amount of really creative plugins available.. For marketing, for anything!

There are countless ways to easily create WordPress sites, not just blogs. Nearly anything you can think of can be done within WordPress.

Here is an example of a WordPress site that a lot of people wouldn't even realize is WordPress. Not a bad looking site for less than 2 hours of work.

Wordpress is definitively the way to go... Why?
Because google love wordpress and it really good optimized for google bot.
Second reason: It is easy ! You can do everything you want with all plugin...
It is fully customizable and open source...
So go ahead!
