Hey guys,

I'll to be as short and clear as possible. So, I have a domain name, it's huge, over 2 million pages - no, i havent made them manually but the links and the pages are generated from the database.

So, I want to rank for a lot of keywords, most of them require a lot of time and efforts. I'm familiar with all that.

It's been sometime after we launched and google have indexed like 200K pages already. We generate some free traffic like 100 visitors per day ~for keywords that we haven't really done anything~.

Our main keyword has around 40K search volume and the other one is like 90K (but this one is insanely hard to rank for).

So, our strategy is to rank for the main keywords (not the hardest one, but the other 15 keywords) We can rank for a lot of keywords, it's a worldwide website for something that everyone use at some point.

My main daily tasks was something like this :

1. Senuke X - created different accounts for each keyword and run it with different proxy

2. MAN - about 10 articles with 3 links for the main 3 keywords that I promote now

~I really wanted to use Scrapebox but the proxies are main reason why I dont use it, I have private proxies but they are for posting, not for scraping 1000's of URL and get them blocked. The free proxies are total crap! I mean seriously, I cant find even 10 proxies to stay alive for like 10 minutes just to scrape some URLs and check PR, ect.~

~I used AMR as well but the success rate dropped down a lot and i havent used it for sometime.~

About 1 and half months later .. I see rank dancing - one day we manage to get into top 100, next day we are somewhere in 400 ... that just not getting much better. I believe that's because we keep on building links every day.

If I believe what G Webmaster says, here's what Google has indexed as a backlinks :

Keyword 1 : 3,253 backlinks

Keyword 2 : 2,465 backlinks

Keyword 3 : 2,020 backlinks

That's all from 857 different domains.

The situation isn't pink at all. It's pretty hard but I've started it, it has HUGE potential and i wont give up.

I know a lot of you guys understand a lot so It would be nice if someone can give me some plan or share some strategy i can use.

Tools I have : Senuke X, AMR, SB & MAN

Any advices ???

PS: I've promoted 3 keywords so far. I wanted to get ranking for them and then move on to next keywords (obviously it will take much more time)

What you really need to do is focus on the pages that are already ranking somewhat well AND are bringing you traffic. Dive into your analytics and identify those pages and see where they are currently ranking in Google for the keywords.

Next up, begin backlinking THOSE pages first, with a little bit of backlinking to your homepage. Sure the "money keywords" are your goal, but for now go after the low hanging fruit and build some link equity to those pages. That way you can start getting some serious traffic for those keywords you nearly have top rankings for.

After bringing in those rankings, reanalyze your traffic again, by now additional pages that you weren't linking to before have increased rankings as a result of the pagerank built. Focus your campaign on those pages, rinse and repeat.

Eventually you'll be able to go after the really big keywords, although that should be your long term strategy and the long tail keywords your short term.

I would say target the easiest keyword first.. rank well for it then move on to the next one.. But no one is going to provide you with a step by step approach.. But here are a few basic tips which I've learned over the years

Relevant backlinks (they don't need to be high pr)
Keep diversity in the backlinks you create
Create backlinks to your backlinks however don't create too big linkwheels.. They are simply a waste of time and they don't provide that much link juice

you have 200k indexed pages and have total 100 visitors per day ?

I would try getting some links that actually have Pagerank. From a quality HPBL network. That link juice will flow through your entire site improving your entire sites ranking in Google.

As a disclaimer I do own a HPBL network. However they really are designed to help with exactly your problem.

The problem is the keywords that we rank for are absolutely different every single time! I mean we rank for stuff like we don't even have written about. Which is really weird!

And no, i dont need a step by step tutorial, i'm juss askin for your opinion what tools should i go for and what you consider that might be the best for this kind of project.

Easiest keywords first? Yeah, i was thinking about that before I have even started any SEO work. I dont know why but I get to the conclusion that if I rank for our main keywords (even though it would be really time and work consuming) this will bring the most traffic. It's like working couple months for ranking for keyword that will get your 40K monthly traffic vs. ranking 100 other keywords getting between 500 - 3500 K each. That's why I decided it will be easier to rank the hardest one. Oh and those 'easier' keywords, they aren't that easier as well.

Yes, buddy! 100 visitors per day but that's from keywords that we haven't done a single backlink to! So that's ok so far! It's a huge project so ... we need to be really patient!

That's what I started with! High PR but I went for blog posts. And It was really hard to do it even with scrapebox. I wanted to go for High PR do follow(most of them). And IP diversity is really important! I believe you're rite I guess that will help but it's really hard to find high pr backlinks.

From what I have learn the best backlinks are contextual homepage high pr aged domain name. Which for those who are new to SEO world simply means backlink from High PR website / blog that has an article on the homepage and in that article you have a do follow backlink.

O.K., here we go again. The good ol' High PageRank vs. Relevant Content argument..

Now, have you taken a good look at the SERPs before?
Have you taken an even harder look at the top ranked sites backlinks before?

If so, then you know that's complete and utter bullshit. A high PageRank link will destroy relevant low quality links, every single day.

How do I know? I've managed SEO campaigns where we tested one variable, high PageRank backlinks, and 9 out of 10 times it worked.

Listen, I may come off a bit harsh, but the dis-information that gets thrown around as fact is simply pathetic.

Let's face it, if PageRank/domain authority WASN'T important and relevancy was, then Google wouldn't give two shits about paid links.

But, we both know they care, and that they work.

Pick a few pages and start promoting them. Get quality links to them not just BS comment spam and SENuke spun crap. Build some quality buffer sites around some of your medium competition keywords. Use SB and SENuke for those sites. Web 2.0s and SB have lost a lot of their power since Panda so dump it on your tier 2 or 3.

You want to build your site as an authority site so build links to it that way. Don't create mass spam to it. That's what buffer sites are for. Look for high quality blog networks that you can post links to like BMR or private ones.

Better yet create your own niche high PR networks around the site.

As your internal pages start gaining authority the other pages will benefit from it. Just start there and start targeting other pages as those gain authority and rank.

So from what i've read from all of your replies your advices tend to go the way that is high PR do follow links. To be honest, I agree. Those are kinda hard to get but they really worth it!
