Amount of ID Protection from Proxy?

Hi:
I use a proxy switch/service primarily use it for posting reviews on Amazon which I do in a separate user name on my computer. My question is, if I use dropbox that shares files with the rest of my computer and my laptop, can Amazon somehow connect more than one identity based on other files I might have open or the fact that I'm using the same computer or does the separate accounts I sign in for and using different proxy servers protect against that?

I suspect you're right. Is there any way to make that foolproof [ex. not using the dropbox] or pretty much no matter what I do [given I'm very much an amateur], if they wanted to they could connect the dots?

i really don't think you have anything to worry about. just make sure you clear cookies/cache/whatever private browsing data in between posting and logging into any of your personal accounts. that might not even be necessary depending on how you're posting.

I have a VPN Pro Account from Hide My Ass; so that sounds like that may offer the protection needed?

a proxy can too if you have the right software (proxycap).
