Best ecommerce service for SEO?

Anyone have any opinions on the best full service ecommerce solutions that offer the best SEO? I am not looking to host it myself - I am done with that.

I am currently using 3dcart for a few sites, and bigcommerce for others.

Looking for opinions on the solutions that offer the best SEO out of the box though.

Because I have used Magento for years and it sucks. Every upgrade crashed the sites and required a programmer to fix them. It would randomly stop working because of cache issues, etc. Too much to maintain. I want someone else to worry about server security and updates.

Those are Content management systems with Ecommerce plugins, completely different than what he's looking for.

Look into http://x.com, it's a new ecommerce solution by PayPal, Ebay, and Magneto (and if I read correctly, it's not self hosted.)

PinnacleCart is a good alternative. It's offered both as a 'SaaS' package and a downloadable packe if you want to go that way.

Ecwid is also a lightweight SaaS which you can plugin to a static page or anywhere else. Also by the same makers is X-cart which is more featured than Ecwid.


Avoid Joomla/Drupal plugins, Zencart, OSCommerce, Magento, or pretty much anything else that alot of new people use. They're either bloated, buggy or impossible to use.
