Hello Blackhaters,

I have one blog on blogsp0t.com.
now i bought domain name from registrar.

My blog is having PR 1!

what i want to know is..

If i redirect my blogsp0t.com blog to the new domain (using blogspot redirection option) then it is just redirection of the blogsp0t to domain.

i want to just transfer that whole blog with name and files to the new domain.

if i export whole blogsp0t.com blog and import it into wordpress blog of my new domain and also redirecting the blogsp0t.com blog to that domain..

will it gonna affect rankings? and urls?

Suggestions required please..

You have to do a 301 direct, you will see a drop in traffic but it should pick back up again and hopefully your pagerank will move to the new domain

Once you have moved the domain you should remove all pages from the old domain, then go into google webmaster tools - Site configuration - -Change of Address and follow the steps

What you must do is make sure that you DO NOT have duplicate content, if you move a page to the new domain then delete the old one and tell google and 301 that page

Thanks for reply.

I know about redirection and the things you suggested.

what my question is.

I have connected my domain to hosting already and installed wordpress in it.
now i am setting up redirection in blogsp0t. also i am connecting my new domain to web host.

so if i import blogsp0t in wordpress blog and that redirection in blogspot also.

will there be any issue?
i mean redirection? or hosting? any?

I had to read your post a couple of times but yes you will see a short drop in traffic but it should come back quite quickly
