It's kind of self explanatory. If you wanna get backlinks for 100% free you should manually blog comment and create forum posts with signatures etc.
But then again, that requires a computer, power and an internet connection which ain't free at all

Any site where you can manually type/link and have it show up will be a backlink to your site, so there's billions of sites that can be backlinks! For example if you had a myspace or a blog and you put a link to your site on it that would be a backlink!

Spend a few weeks studying the threads on BHW and you'll learn a ton about how to create your own backlinks, and a lot of other stuff as well.

Just check every site (the html) manually if the links posted on the site have tag that says "nofollow". And if it doesn't then it's ********.

Go check the Link Building BHW section. Start with the sticky thread "All about backlinks", when you're done reading that then start browsing through other threads in that forum. You'll find the answers you're looking for there.

To find some free backlinking software try this search phrase in google: "free backlinking software".

Do you want a honest and quality recommendation. Post quality and informative content related to the niche everyday. Organic, genuine, free and permanent backlinks will flow automatically. Make your content better than everyone else and make it stand out and it will only grow with time. Tried and tested method for most of the sites out there topping SE. That is the best thing that you can get for free but to be honest, no other SEO is better than organic and actual backlinks. Rest, write articles and post to ezinearticles with your website anchor text backlink, do manual blog commenting on high traffic and authority blogs, do manual submission in high PR quality directories, manual bookmarking once in a while without spamming etc. and organic traffic and backlinks will flow. FACT.

One more thing. Stop worrying too much about nofollow. Not saying you must only post to nofollows but even nofollows are indexed. Go figure how but I have seen it all the years. Concentrate on quality rather than everything else if you are a newbie. The get rich quick is not bad but it is not always evergreen whereas quality is always evergreen especially for newbies. That's some really bad advice. lol

Those are some of the worst possible backlinks you can get, but yep it's free and you can do it.
