I was wondering if anyone on here believed that buying geographically and interest targeted visitors were a waste of money. I have tried multiple services and found very few of these packages have any conversion. What are your opinions, and have you converted well on such traffic?

Prime example:

Visits: 1496
Clicks: 1083
Conversions: 2

This is just so far for the most recent package of 10,000 visits.

If targeted traffic can easily convert for ppl than y do we need to do seo and linkbuilding? Usually such traffic is used to boost ratings not really convert. U did get 2 conversions which is a good thing many do not even get that..

Targeted traffic is usually not worth at all. It might be geographically targeted but usually the visitors are not interested in your products. I still believe that organic SEO Traffic is way to go.

I prefer to use free traffic for everything that I do and use my finances to buy websites, and different software programs to speed up my work online. I also like to outsource work where I can. Traffic is general is sort of the key reason people ever make sales online. I have never actually used adwords, but I do plan to try that in the future anyone familiar with this form of paid traffic?

just started reading adsense code, supposed to be one of the best, I'll take notes and make a thread with cliff notes, this is a community I can be proud to give back to!

Those numbers would be fantastic if you were selling private jet charters at a 20% commission. Supplying enough information to get constructive advice is always a good idea. :)

Where to buy from? And, what are some guidelines to use when choosing geographic locations?

thx

If you really want targeted traffic go to a blog or a site related to your niche and buy an ad spot, that will get you targeted traffic.

That's true when talking about bulk traffic services (which I believe is what the OP is referring to), but other sources for purchasing targeted traffic like PPC programs, ads on high volume related sites, etc. can be good.

You just have to think about what the traffic supplier is actually providing. If it's traffic from some type of click exchange or something similar then you're going to get extremely low conversions. Those visitors are just on a mission to click on as many sites in their network as possible in the alloted time. They don't have any interest in checking out your offers. There are uses for that type of traffic, but it isn't good for marketing to.

It depends on what you pay and how much you get paid per conversion.

Are the two conversions email submits or 50% commission on $5K coaching packages?
