I personally use tweetadder.
Reasons:
It can follow VERY targeted people
It can unfollow
it can send direct message
You can leave it to tweet automatically
Once you follow and unfollow you are sure you are not following the same people that you unfollow before

I have it, the lite version, and so far so good, there is also a free version, very limited, and then you have the pro version which is a little expensive but has many features.

Late to this one but Socialoomph is great for auto following those who follow you... and you can't beat the price

If you want to use a tweeter tools i suggest you use TweetAttacks. But its not for free you have to buy it, This software will never get your account ban because of some function that they add on the program. It has a lot of features, it can follow friends followers also it can follow friends following list. It can also schedule tweets. This software can give you a lot of real people followers.

I read ALOT some time ago (month or 2 maybe) that tweetattacks is getting all account suspended in 24 hours, is this true nowadays? I have tweetattacks and TAAC but havent used them for long time cause i dont see the point of doing account which will get banned in a day or two.
I need your point of view in this!
So maybe i will give it another try if it really still works.EDIT: just tried to start tweetattacks but it crashes, hmmmmm?...
