Hi guys,

I currently have a mns with a main keyword that is supposed to get 1900 local exact searches every month according to Google Adwords keyword Tool.

For some reasons I am only getting 10-20 UAV /day. Some days even less.. And obviously the earnings haven't been good and I have probably gotten maybe 3 clicks since I started this 2 months ago.

What's going on guys? Any clue? I know that maybe spot #1 would increase my visits but #2 should be getting more shouldn't it?

It's not a seasonal keyword and it's a branded keyword..

Mate, statistics show only 50% of the people click on the first link.
That'd mean some 31 visitors for site 1.

Your site is getting the correct number of views for it's position for this keyword.

position 2 gets only 9-12% depending on which report you read.

so lets say 10% of 1900 = 190 per month

/ 30 days = 6 clicks per day

Your figures are actually above average, either shoot for the number one spot or aim for a different niche

So that means I can expect around 31 UAV per day if I claim the #1 spot for my keyword? :)

And also another question: When I check my SERP rank it says my landing page and one other page that I haven't done any offpage seo on are ranking for number 11 and 12. There are many other sites above me but how come they don't show when I google my keyword?

sounds like the software you are using to check your rank is not accurate

I use SEOSERP.com I thought that one was accurate.. But now when I check with Traffic Travis pro it says i'm ranked #2 so all's good :)

if you have 3 sites ranking for the same keywords will google put them all on the first page even if they're hosted on the same server?

Clear your cache, cookies and temp. Then do a search. Make sure your in the right version of google (dt cum not dt ca or whatever.). Also log out of your google account. Then what you see is what we see.

I would start targeting more keywords and work on your primary keyword on the side. Keep pushing forward! :)

I've learnt that persistent hard work is the key to success.

I have had problems with finding long tail keywords for my current keyword.

The guy I bought the keyword from didn't supply me with any long tail keywords..

I'd be really grateful if you or anyone else could help me out.

PM me if you have spare time :)

i have this problem also.
I rank 1st for a kw that GOT me 700 uniques/day (has 2400 exact/month so.... screw the g tool).
I now get 3-4 visits/day from that kw.

So something is going on
I check ranks with ranktracker.

Depending on the tool you use and the settings you will get different traffic numbers that might induce in error, for example using Market Samurai, i have chosen a good keyword, that had lots of traffic, and no real competition. The problem in my case was, the traffic data from the keyword includes all googles (.com, .co.uk ...) and the competition analiser only takes into account google.com, so i got similar stats as you guys are having, ranking top places on google.com , and getting no real hits, why ? because the real traffic in my case comes from google.co.uk, and when i did check my position on .co.uk i was nowhere near the first places.

It does not happen that often, but keep in mind some keywords only have value in certain countries (talking about english keywords, as for other languages, it's plain common sense that will have more value in the country of origin).
